Perfect Location and lovely property.
From the start the communication with Catorina was fantastic and unlike other properties, all cost were included rather than hidden cost for utilities linen etc. She is very relaxed about everything and responded to me within minutes if we had any questions.
The house itself is perfect for friends or a family and is very well laid out, with a good sized kitchen, a very cosy lounge with an open fireplace and nice outdoor area for BBQs or just chilling. The beds are really comfy and there are 2 bathrooms, one with a bath and the other with a shower.
You would need a car like most places in rural France, however, everything is within a few minutes drive with a pub/cafe time place just 5 mins walk away from the property selling some basics.
Would definitely go back.
The property was very spacious. But unfortunately a few things didn’t work very well especially the heating.
The bottle of wine on arrival was a nice touch.
Thank you for your comments. I'm sorry that you had problems with the heating - we are currently undertaking a check of the system. You shouldn't have hesitated to contact me during your stay - my colleagues would have come to assist with any issues.
Thank you again for staying and I apologise if anything detracted from your break.
We had an amazing time, couldn't get over how big the rooms were. Lovely walks, canoeing and beach near by, plenty of shops around.
Really lovely getaway not too far from Calais
We have just returned from a peaceful relaxing stay at the property. The property is well equipped, everything you could possibly need on a stay. We are so used to having to buy bits and bobs, but this property has everything. The photos do not do justice, the property is a VERY good size and the outside space an added bonus. Perfect for a large family group.
The village is lovely, very pretty and nice to walk or cycle around.
We shall certainly be staying again and hopefully for longer. Thank you very much!
We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! Thank you so much for your feedback and look forward to seeing you again soon
Peaceful retreat in a beautiful traditional home
A beautifully restored traditional house with loads of character and original features. Clean and well equipped for a family. Welcoming and homely with a secure garden for the children to play in. Beautiful, tranquil location. We spent a couple of really lovely days walking in the surrounding forests and paddling in the river. A really lovely place to stay.
Maison très calme. Cheminée au feu de bois très agréable. Excellentes literie et salle de bains.
Bien. Bon accueil. Environnement calme. Quelques accessoires de première nécessité manquants (balai, serpillière, cafetière,...) sanitaires très propres et récents. Très bon séjour. Bravo.
