Stunning inside and out. So quite!
From feeding swans and ducks to the fly by at dusk from the Canadian geese over the lake it's a beautiful place in the world to be.
Accommodation was so homely with loads of extra love and care.
The best we've stayed in. The pool table was well used by the whole family. The boat hot tub and kyacks we used daily keeping a teenager and two 11 years entertained. I would recommended this lake house to anyone thinking of going down this part of the country. Beautiful!
Beautiful house on Rudyard Lake
A fantastic property in an idylic setting: perfect as a quiet and calm retreat or for a more active family holiday. The lake is beautifully quiet and the view never tires! A great base for trips into the Peak District to the north with major centres and attractions also driveable if desired. Nearby Leek has several good options for eating out, but catering at the property is also easy with good facilities (including large gas BBQ). Splendid 7km circular lake walk right on the doorstop for those who enjoy walking (or running)! You can also make use of the 2 kayaks and boat provided with the property.
Great arrangement of bedrooms and bathrooms making for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The pool table was a hit with all of our family. All-in-all a brilliant property for a memorable and unique holiday.

Lovely property with everything you need
The house was amazing, even better than the very detailed description.
The owner has thought of everything, there were so many little touches that made the place perfect. We enjoyed a fabulous family holiday and hardly ventured out as we had everything to keep us occupied in the property.
I would highly recommend this place to others!
A lakeside beauty
A beautifully designed property on the edge of Rudyard Lake, also comes with 2 kayaks, a pool table and a hot tub. In my opinion, makes for a perfect holiday property.
