Brilliant weekend in a brilliant 'cottage'!
The Milking Parlour is just super for a group of 'old' friends to catch up and enjoy the lovely countryside. This is our third stay and we still have found plenty to do in the area. This time the weather couldn't have been better for walking up Carding Mill Valley or exploring Berrington Hall. On previous visits we've 'done' Long Mynd, Ludlow, Church Stretton, Croft Castle, walk to the Folly and much more. The hot tub is so well maintained and gives a relaxing end to the day in the sunshine. Inside, the bedrooms are lovely, the bathrooms are spotless and there is one for each room. Comfy lounge to chill out of an evening and a big table to seat everyone. There are good places to eat out not too far away or great to cook and eat in, and 2 BBQs means easy to cater for 10 or more. Highly recommended.
Great house for family holiday
The house is spacious, light, warm, comfortable and practical. The space worked very well indeed for our family gathering. The owner was super accommodating of our large party and went out of her way to help us throughout our stay.
A perfect snowy break
We arrived in the midst of very thick snowfall and the owners couldn't have been more helpful - sending us guidance on best routes beforehand and offering to meet us if our car couldn't make it up the road. The house itself was perfect - beautiful location and comfortable stay with lots to keep us all occupied. We've already booked for next year!
A beautiful, comfortable cottage. Ideal for a family holiday.
Well equipped and laid out, this cottage had everything we needed and more for a relaxing, family break.
The facilities cannot be faulted and the wood features are so attractive yet restful. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
