About the property

The building complex includes the Villa Caniparola, Arc and all the land and the surrounding properties a wide range is a single property. Villa and Arco are bound as Historic Houses by the Ministry of Cultural and Environmental Heritage for their important architectural, historical and landscape.

Everything is now completely restored and brought to its former splendor by the current owners, preserved intact with adjacent land planted with olive groves and vineyards.


The apartment has direct access from the village square and is served by private enclosed parking with automatic gate, is on two floors above a total gross square meters. 120 and comes with a private garden of 200 square meters. completely fenced with hedges of laurel.

The garden has a lawn and there is a large oak tree.

On this we overlook the living room and kitchen. The ceiling of the ground floor is made of old beams and joists chestnut and always chestnut is the staircase that leads upstairs.

The main decoration consists of a sofa bed and another in black leather, glass dining table with chairs and cupboard with TV.

The kitchen is in brick with marble floor is fully equipped and the coating is ancient Vietri tiles.

The upper floor has a ceiling entirely vaulted stone and consists of two fully furnished double bedrooms plus a large bathroom with shower and bath always covered with antique tiles from Vietri.

The apartment is equipped with free Wi-Fi.

Beautiful accommodation in a lovely location

We had a lovely stay in the La Merla apartment (23rd to 27th August 2015). The apartment was finished to a high standard - as seen in the pictures. The village of Caniparola was a great location, a short drive to Sanzana and with excellent restaurants on the doorstep.

Everyone we met and organised the stay with was friendly and helpful and we are already planning to come back next year to explore the area further.

We had a very good stay at la Merla. We were four persons and stayed there for a week. The only little problem was the slow Wi-fi but we did not really mind about that because the house was really good.

The house is well located, close to the Cinque Terre and amazing cities like Florence or Pise. The place is very clean and spacious.

The pool is shared but that's not a problem because it's pretty big.

Franco welcomed us and was very nice :)

We would recommend anyone to spend some days in this beautiful place and we will not hesitate in returning there in the future.
