Two Adjoining Ski Apartments

The apartments are set in the grange of an old traditional Savoyarde farmhouse, in the picturesque village of Essert Romand. This beautiful property comprises of two inter communicating eight bed apartments, each one is arranged over two floors and is full of rustic charm, original beams etc. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, a living room and dining area with fabulous views of the surrounding mountains. Essert Romand is very proud to have the highly recommended “La Petite Auberge Restaurant” just a 5 minute walk from the chalet. There are many other restaurants, shops, cinemas and bars in the main town centre of Morzine to keep you entertained during your stay. We are a 5 minute drive from the vibrant Morzine town centre or a 200m walk to the ski bus. At Chalet La Salle you are spoiled for choice when it comes to accessing the Portes du Soleil region, it is one of the largest skiing and snowboarding areas in the world with 207 lifts and 650km of marked pistes and nursery slopes. Morzine is renowned for being a popular family resort and perfect for all abilities ranging from beginner to expert.

About Gerald and Valerie Nicholls

Let us introduce ourselves, we are Gerald and Valerie and have two grown up daughters. We have been skiing in the Portes du Soleil region for over 15 years and spent many a summer holiday here too. We all absolutely adore Morzine and everything it has to offer. From skiing in the winter to the fantastic walks in the summer. There are activities here to keep the most energetic person busy, or there is peace and tranquillity for those more relaxing moments. To us Morzine is the place to be.

There are beaches along the south coast of Lake Geneva and locally there is swimming in the lakes.

Travel:

The apartment is 1hr 20mins from the nearest airport of Geneva and a 8hr drive from Calais. The nearest train station is either Cluses or Thonon Les Baines approximately 40 minutes away.

Distances:

The centre of Morzine and its ski lifts are only a few minutes drive away as are several other access points in the Portes du Soleil area. There is a ski bus stop no further than 200m from the apartment.

Why not visit Morzine in the summer, there is so much going on after the snow has gone. There are numerous festivals, rallies and sporting events taking place, plus all the sports activities which include, mountain biking, rock climbing, rafting, canyoning, parapenting, trekking, ice hockey, swimming and golf. You could use Morzine as your base and take a look at what's on offer just a short drive away, there are so many picturesque places of interest, or just chill out and recouperate in these beautiful surroundings!

Booking Notes:
A 25% non refundable deposit will secure the booking, if after 7 days we do not receive this deposit we will assume that you no longer require this booking and we will offer it as available without further notification. The remaining balance will be due 8 weeks prior to the start of your vacation along with a damage bond of £200. The damage bond will be returned in full within 7 days less any deductions for damages or any extra cleaning needed. All payments to be made by bank transfer.

Changeover Day:
Our preferred changeover day is Saturday, but we can be flexible.
