Country Memories sits on 240 beautiful acres deep in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. The owner’s live on site in the historic home just in front of the guesthouse. Country Memories is a newly built guesthouse. With a wonderful outdoor sitting area as well as an upstairs deck off the bedroom. Enjoy sitting in these areas in the morning with a cup of coffee or in the evening with a glass of wine. There are plenty of deer and other wildlife as well as friendly farm animals at Country Memories. Parts of this bed and breakfast were constructed with wood salvaged from an old milk barn located on the farm. There is also an historic, but not for use, cooking stove in the house. If you want to come and relax and leave, the big city behind, this is the place for you. Come and make some memories at Country Memories.

It was the perfect get away spot!
We loved every minute of our time in the quaint little house. It was very clean and welcoming. Our time in Fredericksburg was even more perfect because of Country Memories! Thanks for an amazing stay!
We loved it!
Great hiking. Lots to see not just there at the cabin but within driving. Our host were great. Words can not describe what a great time we had. My husband is already planning another trip. We highly recommend Country Memories.
We loved our stay. Very clean, very nice place. Seeing the wildlife from the balcony every evening and morning is perfect. We have stayed at several places and this is by far the best. Jackie and Toni are the perfect hostess, the homemade treats were wonderful, and it was an absolute pleasure getting to visit with them and learn more about the history of this place. I won’t look anywhere else going forward. I’ll most definitely be staying here.
Clean and comfortable
Very peaceful and quiet, pretty views, enjoyed watching the deer and hummingbirds.
Quaint Peaceful getaway
Country Memories was a very cute cottage built with a lot of character and old wood, fence posts used In the interior. There is a book on the coffee table that tells of the material used off of the property to build this cute cottage and tells the history of the owners and their relation to Admiral Nimitz. Very clean, plenty of towels, pastries and coffee provided. Had everything we needed. The only negative comment I have is that on the rental site you cannot tell how close the cottage is to the owners home. The fire pit/grill area is basically at their back door. However, there is a private balcony off of the bedroom, which is where we sat outside to watch the deer at the feeder. It is very peaceful and the owners were very sweet!
Nice and peaceful
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful and peaceful. Loved the cats, deer and cattle. Will definitely visit again.
