About MARINA WILLIAMS
This is my home from home. It has been our base for all our holidays since the children were little. Perfect memories! We want other people to share this unique property in my home village!
MARINA WILLIAMS purchased this Villa in 2002
Why MARINA WILLIAMS chose Anogyra
This house was designed by us and finished building in 2007. It was designed for easy relaxed outdoor living. The sunrise/sunset were a consideration and the house has been designed so that you make the most of the evening breeze. If you want tranquility in a unique Cypriot village which is ideally located for sea sport fanatics, hikers, bikers, foodies, golfers, or just want a quiet relaxation this is the place for you. Don’t be put off with the location as with a short drive you can be in amongst the town hub with clubs, restaurants and commotion with an easy return taxi ride back to to the village costing no more than Eu50.

Thank you Marina we had a lovely half term despite the rain and chilly nights. The house is beautiful and well designed and lovely to stay in. The swimming pool was freezing (end of October) but the grandchildren stayed in for hours! The sea is beautifully warm at this time of year and Anoyira is a wonderful village to stay in. Please will you have us back next year?
We have stayed in so many different villas in Cyprus and this was by far the nicest villa we have stayed in. The house was very clean and had everything that you would need in it. There was so much space in the villa and around the pool with 5 adults and 2 children we could still have our own space if needed. The children loved being able to pick the fruit from the trees and tasting different thing.
Whenever we had a question from first looking at the villa to when we were there the communication was so fast and really helpful. We will be back again when we next come to Cyprus.
A beautiful villa in a really lovely village.
We stayed in this lovely villa in February. It was perfectly placed to explore the area and had wonderful walking from the door. The villa was very comfortable and well appointed and it was a delight to enjoy breakfast on the lovely terrace in the winter sunshine. The wood burner was a welcome addition for the chilly evenings, we will definitely be back.
Fantastic holiday property in a nice quiet and friendly village. Easy drive to the coast.
Had a great time in Cyprus but it was nice to come home to the house and its lovely swimming pool at the end of each day. Layout and facilities are everything you need! If I had the funds I would buy this house!
Thank you for your kind words and so happy to hear you enjoyed the house and the village ! Thank you for your booking and hope to see you next year perhaps
Peaceful location, very well appointed, great pool
We were very happy with the house, it is in a beautiful rural location an easy walk from the village. There are some lovely walks in the area and there is easy access to the coast.
The house itself was ideal. It was large and well appointed, the kitchen was particularly well stocked with everything you could possibly need ( my husband always judges a kitchen by whether or not there are kitchen scissors and there was no need for him to fear on this count! I need a teapot and there was also one of those so a five star kitchen)
The house was very clean and comfortable and the pool was perfect. There was a useful folder of information and we soon found our way around.
We had a very enjoyable week and would recommend this property without hesitation
I was due to travel with a friend who unfortunately had a fall (when she broke her knee and hip and has needed a hip replacement) and I hope I will be able to bring her next year!
Thank you for choosing us for your stay and we are glad you enjoyed your stay!
Thank you for your wonderful review and hope you will return for another stay!
Glad you also enjoyed the house and it’s always great to hear that people love it as much as we do ...Home from Home!
Brilliant excellent villa
Enjoyed the stay in the villa which is truly superb and has a great pool with plenty of space and lovely bedrooms. Close enough to large towns and amenities to get out on excursions. Hill road is interesting but you get used to and during our stay was festival so slightly noisier than usual I suspect but overall very peaceful. Overall would highly recommend. Only sorry we had to leave!
We are glad you enjoyed your stay and thank you for the great review. We hope to see you again next year
Special interest holidays:There are some great little wineries to explore through out the area including a wine route mapped in useful guide leaflets available at airports.
Cycling: Anogyra is in a renown cycle route with some extreme hills and wonderful views with well maintained roads as well as other routes., including off road!...see link http://www.chooseyourcyprus.com/images/Activities/Cycling/Troodos/Cyprus_Troodos_Cycling_Routes_Map_Big.jpg Cyprus is a biker’s paradise, it’s guaranteed sunshine and the excellent weather conditions prevailing on the island mean cycling can be enjoyed almost throughout the year, and strong headwinds are rare. The island’s compactness is its main attraction, offering rapid changes of terrain and scenery on even the shortest bike trails. Within the space of 10 km you can go from rocky to clay, and steep to flat, enabling you to experience all surfaces within a short period of time, and making the island into one huge mountain bike and road cycling arena.
Golf: There is a choice between three 18-hole golf courses of international standards located amongst hills with a view down to the beautiful sea. Situated in the wider area of Paphos, they are distanced from the noise and ruckus s of the tourist resorts, but just close enough for easy access to them. At these courses there are Golf Open Tournaments which are organized in Cyprus where you can test your handicap or enjoy amateur golf- Today’s golfer will find everything they need, either they be professional or recreational, from practice facilities, clubhouses and the giving of personal lessons. for hiking, walking, bird watching and flora watchers The Forestry Department has created a number of trails within the state forests in various parts of the island, from Cape Greko in the southeast to Akamas peninsula in the west. These have been carefully designed to cover areas of rich natural vegetation and cultural interest. They have been landscaped on gentle gradients and are, as a rule, circular so that all age groups can easily use them. Flora and geology features are along many route. Although walking in Cyprus can be enjoyed throughout the year, the recommended seasons are during late Autumn (November) and spring, when the Cyprus rural and forest areas are at full bloom.
The villa is located within 10 min drive to Evdimou Beach and 15 min drive to Pissouri Bay.
There are various small bays to explore as well as the beautiful Curium Beach which is 25 mins away. All beaches are grey sand/shingle. Lady's mile beach is a shallow sandy beach with various cafes along the beach and a great children's sea adventure play area. see link:
