This delightful character villa set in the lovely village of Anogyra is family owned and a much loved home. It is set within its own landscaped garden and a private pool within walking distance to the heart of the village making it an ideal location for those who wish to get away from it all with every thing you will need for a relaxing holiday in the sun. Suitable for children of all ages. It sleeps up to 8 adults in 4 separate bedrooms. Large open plan lounge and kitchen diner with access through patio doors leading to the outdoor living and alfresco dining. Kitchen is equipped with range cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer cutlery, crockery, nespresso coffee machine table seating 8. Utility room with walk in larder and washing machine, WiFi internet access. Smart TV Box Multimedia Player allowing you access to tv wifi and many UK channels,DVD player and Wii game consoles with access to games.

French doors leading to extensive covered pergola which overlooks a private pool (8m x 4m) allowing you to enjoy the in/outdoor living that is perfect with this villa. Pool Depth 0.8M To 1.75M. Sun loungers are provided in the garden and outdoor tables in various part of the garden allow you to enjoy the cool evening whilst dining as well as the wicker patio set that allows you to enjoy pre dinner drinks and relaxed evening conversation. Extensive and well maintained gardens. Car port with gated parking up to 3 cars. Central heating for winter and ceiling fans maintain a comfortable temperature in summer. All linen and towels provided (not beach towels) Extra weekly cleaning and change of linen can be arranged at an extra cost. Please note there is NO air-conditioning provided. Outdoor gas ‘Outback' BBQ and charcoal BBQ 's are provided. The village has 3 tavernas one with a pool and a little cypriot coffee shop. which also opens on the evening as a bar. Local attractions include visiting Oleastro, and seeing local olive oil being produced, Carob Museum where carob molasses production and pastel a local toffee product are renowned in our village , herb oil press and a local winery. as well as our own Haloumi factory where you can buy fresh Haloumi cheese and yoghurt as well as fresh Ricotta. Elsewhere, our local beach is Avdimou beach or Pissouri bay with its “blue flag” beach is 15 minutes’ drive. If you are keen to enjoy some relaxation then only 15 mins away is the the wonderful Columbia Hotel & Resort where you can be pampered in the spa, enjoy their pools and beaches and try their cuisine. Within 40 minutes by car you can be amongst the cooling pine forests of Platres and Troodos. Relax and soak up the true village atmosphere amongst olive groves, carob trees and the sound of Cicada’s. Visit the ancient ruins of Curium,Kolossi Castle, Limassol castle and the old quarters, tombs of the Kings, Pafos Castle and surrounding ruins, and the amazing St George's Bay. For those that enjoy walking there are some amazing routes to discover whilst enjoying the surrounding topography and wild flowers. This village is great for cycling to and from with some great climbs or fast descends for the fast and furious! . There are bike tours that can be organised, further details can be forwarded if required. You can enjoy a dive to the famous ‘Zinobia’ wreck or join the local diving school for some lessons and tours.

The Paramali beach is a famous kite surfers beach which is only 10 mins drive away.

For those with children you will love the Fassouri waterpark which is open April-Oct. The Lady's mile beach is a great children's beach with an inflatable assault course and some great cafe/restaurant choices. for those that enjoy the surf then Curium is the beach to try!

Larnaca ad Nicosia are 1 hr 15 mins away and with the busy towns of Limassol and Paphos almost exactly either side of Anogyra there will always be some where to visit and so much to do. For the Art lovers then its worth checking out whats on for various open gallery visits in both Nicosia and Limassol.

The pool is a 8x4 salt water pool which means it requires a limited amount of chemicals . Our pool maintenance man will try to attend 2 times per week. It is very hot in the summer and it can be a long day for him so please allow him a clear access to the pool to clean and balance the pool. He will occasionally add bags of salt to the pool which will not affect your swim. If there are any questions please do ask him. Please ensure you shower before each swim to remove excess sun cream as this affects the quality of the pool water and the liner. You may use the net to clear the pool of debris and if you wish to hoover pool yourselves there are clear instructions in the folder provided at the house.

This is my home from home. It has been our base for all our holidays since the children were little. Perfect memories! We want other people to share this unique property in my home village!

This house was designed by us and finished building in 2005. It was designed for easy relaxed outdoor living. The sunrise/sunset were a consideration and the house has been designed so that you make the most of the evening breeze.

The Villa is located in the village with only a 5 minute walk to the shops and 2 local taverna. It is amongst the local community. The pool has a safety cover which is used in the winter when the pool is not open making it a safe environment for children when the pool is not in use. The garden can also be secured by gates making it safe for young children. Outside: All French doors lead on to a covered verandah with stylish sail covered pergola outside garden furniture and an outside table that seats 6-8. There is well maintained gardens, with olive trees, vines, fig, Pomegranate, peach, mulberry and citrus trees. A typical Cypriot charcoal BBQ and Outback Gas BBQ is provided. covered parking area and extra car parking accommodating 3 cars. Gates make this property secure. Utility Room: Walk in Larder equipped with sink, washing machine microwave and a drinks fridge and water cooler. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All linen and towels provided (not beach towels). Weekly cleaning and change of linen can be arranged at extra cost to be confirmed on booking Downstairs wc and cloakroom. Outside storage facility and a pool house providing a safe facility for the pool chemicals. Outside pool seating

Excellent homely Villa in idyllic Cypriot Village

This Villa was accurately described and in a lovely idyllic location for a quiet peaceful family holiday. It was clean and well maintained, with all the comforts of home; very large cooker, fridge freezer, large BBQ and dish washer. There is no air conditioning but you quickly get used to it and the house actually remains very cool all day, despite the very high temperatures and cloudless days! The salt filtered swimming pool was refreshingly clean and well maintained - such a pleasant change from chlorine. The local supermarket in the village is good for essentials, but there is a large well stocked supermarket within a 10-15 minute drive. A hire car is essential, and one with a bit of power to get up and down the hills to the village, and beyond. We used a SatNav with European maps, but be careful of short cuts, which end up as dirt tracks! The local restaurants in the village are good, especially for a traditional mezi. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay here, and would not only highly recommend it to friends and family, but we would love to return. Thank you

Holiday Bliss

The directions was precise and easy to find upon arrival, even in the evening when we first arrived. It is a beautiful villa, set in beautiful surroundings and gardens. The house is spacious and wonderfully thought throughout, with all essentials available. There was not one thing that we needed and it was not available. A pool that was well maintained throughout our stay. We was initially worried that it does not have A/C, but it does not need it, the villa does have ceiling fans, but we found this was sufficient as it has a lovely breeze in the bedrooms and downstairs. Wifi connection was great too, to be able to skype family and friends back home.

Peaceful and tranquil location, giving you wonderful village experience, with such friendly locals. There is a local village shop which has all your essentials, with a local supermarket which is only a 10 minute drive. Great friendly restaurants, with delicious food. A beautiful monastery just down the down.

It is a beautiful villa and would like to thank the owners for making our stay comfortable. Definitely be looking at booking again!

A very nice house in typical location

The house is as described in the listing and has all the facilities required for a comfy stay. It is modern, clean and well maintained. Eight of us (four adults and four kids) have staid there for a week and all of us felt at ease in it. It is conveniently located in between Paphos, Limassol and the Troodos (mountainous area), off the touristic roads in a typical village. The owner was nice and understanding and answered any queries promptly. I would definitely recommend this house to a friend or relative.

Great family house in nice location

The house is as described in the listing and provides for everything you might need during a week stay. It is very conveniently located between Paphos and Limassol in a typical village off the touristic routes. The troodos mountains are not too far away as well for those who might prefer hiking to sunbathing.

The property is clean and well maintained and the owner has been very helpful and very quick in answering our queries. We were 4 adults and 4 children and everybody enjoyed the house. Would definitely recommend to a friend or relative.

Special interest holidays:There are some great little wineries to explore through out the area including a wine route mapped in useful guide leaflets available at airports.

Cycling: Anogyra is in a renown cycle route with some extreme hills and wonderful views with well maintained roads as well as other routes...see link Cyprus is a biker’s paradise, it’s guaranteed sunshine and the excellent weather conditions prevailing on the island mean cycling can be enjoyed almost throughout the year, and strong headwinds are rare. The island’s compactness is its main attraction, offering rapid changes of terrain and scenery on even the shortest bike trails. Within the space of 10 km you can go from rocky to clay, and steep to flat, enabling you to experience all surfaces within a short period of time, and making the island into one huge mountain bike and road cycling arena.

Golf: There is a choice between three 18-hole golf courses of international standards located amongst hills with a view down to the beautiful sea. Situated in the wider area of Paphos, they are distanced from the noise and ruckus s of the tourist resorts, but just close enough for easy access to them. At these courses there are Golf Open Tournaments which are organized in Cyprus where you can test your handicap or enjoy amateur golf- Today’s golfer will find everything they need, either they be professional or recreational, from practice facilities, clubhouses and the giving of personal lessons. The Forestry Department has created a number of trails within the state forests in various parts of the island, from Cape Greko in the southeast to Akamas peninsula in the west. These have been carefully designed to cover areas of rich natural vegetation and cultural interest. They have been landscaped on gentle gradients and are, as a rule, circular so that all age groups can easily use them. Flora and geology features are along many route. Although walking in Cyprus can be enjoyed throughout the year, the recommended seasons are during late Autumn (November) and spring, when the Cyprus rural and forest areas are at full bloom.

The villa is located within 10 min drive to Evdimou Beach and 15 min drive to Pissouri Bay.

There are various small bays to explore as well as the beautify Curium Beach which is 30 mins away. All beaches are grey sand/shingle. Lady's mile beach is a shallow sandy beach with various cafes along the beach and a great children's adventure play area. see link:

Travel:35 minutes from Paphos Airport, 90 minutes from Larnaca Airport. Car Hire recommended easy access form the airport. The terrain can vary so a 1.4l car hire is recommended.

For those seeking a little vibrant night life in bars you can't go wrong if you start at the new Limassol Marina and finishing off at the all night beach famous club 'GUABA" who have various visiting DJ s each season.
