This is a very beautiful farmhouse in immaculate condition set in the alpine village of Combloux, with spectacular views stretching from the Chaine des Aravis to Mont Blanc. This farm provides a wonderful tranquil setting with plenty of open space, sitting opposite Le Bouchet ski lift and 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of Combloux.
The farmhouse is on three levels, with the main living accommodation on the first floor, sleeping quarters on the ground floor and a luxurious spa on the lower ground floor, with steps leading out to an outdoor heated swimming pool, hot-tub and cuisine d’ete.
The first floor opens up into a large drawing room with open fire and a dining area off which is an American kitchen. The dining area has an amazing outlook from the full length French windows with a door leading out to the terrace. There is a large TV/playroom off the drawing room, containing a large plasma TV screen and ample seating. The master bedroom with ensuite bathroom is also on the first floor. Finally, there is a separate washroom adjacent to the TV room.
The newly fitted kitchen is well equipped with double oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge. Adjacent to the kitchen is a large walk in pantry with ample storage space, a large fridge/freezer and, wine cupboard.
The farm sleeps 10 people comfortably with 5 spacious bedrooms, four of which have an ensuite bathroom. Four of the bedrooms are on the ground floor with the fifth, master bedroom, on the first floor. The office on the lower ground floor can be turned into a 6th bedroom.
The ground floor also comprises a large double garage off which is a utility room with washing machine, dryer and plenty of storage for winter and summer kit.
The lower ground floor spa area is equipped with sauna, hamman, gymnasium (running machine, cross-trainer, rowing machine, bicycle and weights) changing and washroom facilities with double showers. There is outdoor access from the spa leading to a large garden with swimming pool, hot tub, cuisine d’ete and, large dining area. The cusine d’ete is equipped with a large BBQ, fridge/freezer, oven, hob and dishwasher together with ample storage space

When I awoke from my first night at this truly beautiful farmhouse I felt like I had been bathed in cotton wool. This wasn't just due to the purity of the mountain air but also the incredibly comfortable bed and luxuriously soft sheets. The accommodation has fantastic attention to detail. It most certainly is five star and a bit of a wrench to go skiing when there is a fully equipped gym, sauna, steam room, table tennis table and outdoor hot tub with fantastic views of the mountains. The interior is stylish and a bit funky with just the right balance. Highly, highly recommended.
