Having visited the Algarve for several years with my wife and family i felt it was time to take the plunge and make an investment in property here as i have always considered this to be my second home.

Having found this majestic site and now near completion i want to share with others what i have been fortunate to enjoy over the past years.

The Algarve has everything for all tastes and will be sure to make you want to return year after year.

Almancil is a great area that caters for everyone. You are a stone throw from the town centre with its array of exceptional cafes and restaurants and a short drive to the stunning beaches of Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago.

It is perfectly situated for families and golfers who want to enjoy everything the Algarve has to offer but a nice distance away that you are not in the heart of the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas.

Local restaurants serve freshly sourced food at great value.

The locals are extremely friendly and always welcoming which is one of the main attractions for buying in this gem of an area situated in the hills behind Almancil.

5 star Villa in Almancil

A group of us stayed at this incredible villa in Almancil by the Algarve.

We were completely spoilt with the views, activities and how immaculate everything was kept.

It really is a place for everyone, for children, wanting to relax or to having a few drinks and dinner party.

Our group did it all and it was hard to go out and enjoy the rest of the Algarve as we had everything we wanted in the villa.

We will be wanting to come back thats for sure, especially for a volley ball rematch.

Fantastic! All you need for a perfect holiday

We would highly recommend this holiday home as it has everything you need all in one location. The views are amazing and the pool is ideal for socializing and enjoying the sun. We had an amazing time staying here, you cant fault it.

Exceeded all expectations!

When you first drive through the gates to this complex, you just think - wow! The main villa is situated at the top of the hill with amazing views over the surrounding area. The whole complex is landscaped brilliantly and with such attention to detail. The pool area is great and also has a built in bbq there as well as on the main patio outside the villa. The interior is open and spacious with a brilliant kitchen having everything you would need, and as a nice extra touch there are books, widescreen TV and a mix of games to enjoy. We had great fun with the giant jenga after a few drinks!

We definitely hope to be returning soon!

Beautiful, faultless property

13 of us went to the estate for a Hen party - it was absolutely wonderful and better than we expected.

The property is stunning, incredibly secure and has so much space, both inside the houses and the surrounding grounds.

Everything is finished to a very high standard, the beds were very comfortable and the outdoor seating area at the main house had beautiful views - I noticed a previous review said there needed to be more lighting in that area however there was strings of lights all across the terrace, so i would say that problem has been addressed.

The man looking after the estate - Reinaldo- could not have been nicer, very happy to leave us to it, but also just a whatsapp away if we needed advice with supermarkets, taxi numbers or what to do with the bins.

Sean was great at communicating with me regarding the booking, payments and sent me a long list of restaurants, supermarkets and other personal recommendations.

The taxi company Sean recommended was great - beautiful cars and drivers in suits - it felt more like a chauffeur service than a taxi - and the drivers were happy to wait for us while we went to the supermarket, and even came into the irish bar we were in to collect us and take us to the cars.

I couldn't be happier with our choice of staying here, nobody could find a thing to complain about, and it exceeding all our expectations. I hope we will be back again, as 3 days was just not long enough.

Wonderful family villa 14 of us and 1 baby and we all had a wonderful time

The villa was everything I had hoped it would be..well stocked and in excellent order and the accomodation was ideal for a large family both in the main villa and in the two self contained bungalows.There was ample space in the extensive grounds for us to have our own space when needed but the pool and terrace were both ideal for us all to be together and bbq/cook then eat al fresco when we required.Great selection of restaurants around the area in Almancil,Loule and a little further afield in Sta barbara and in the Quinta area..would particularly recommend the Thai restuarant in Valverde where we were really well looked after with authentic Thai food.

The representative on site Reinaldo was particularly helpful..speaks excellent English and any slight problem (We had a water leak one day)was speedily and efficiently dealt with.

The only 2 slight things we thought would improve the villa was (1) more outdoor shade on the terrace and in the pool area and (2) more illumination on the terrace for when we ate outside in the evening.However in the scheme of things these were minor irritations..ovarall we couldnt have chosen better for our purposes and thank you Sean for the opportunities it afforded us

Stylish Villa with Magnificent Views

We had a fantastic week with the extended family (ages 1 to 84) at Lago Da Serra. The villa is brand new, very stylish and it worked well that apart from the main house, there were two additional separate houses. There is plenty of room for everybody to meet at the pool, in the main living room or on the terrace from where you have stunning sea views. The housekeeper couple is very friendly and helpful. We can only recommend Lago Da Serra!

Coast/Beach:

5* beaches of Vale do Lobo and Vilamoura are only 10-15 minutes away by car.

These beaches are stunning to say the least and host a variety of great cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes. Sun loungers and umbrellas can be hired by the hour.

If you require something a bit more secluded we have details of many other beaches not found by the mass tourist population just yet.

Travel:

Faro airport is located 20km from the villa with a transfer time of approximately 15-20 minutes. A car is recommended for this property unless you enjoy hill walking with a great view. We can organise bicycle hire if requested as this is a great way to explore the local area.

Distances:

Almancil and Loule are equidistant to the villa- both 5 minutes away by car. Both towns are packed with culture and sites to explore with an abundance of cafes, bars and great restaurants.

The ancient town of Loule hosts weekend markets which mustn't be missed.
