Modern living facilities at this Norfolk self catering cottage offer an open plan living room/kitchen/diner with double patio door access to the front, at the rear a secluded south facing garden. The first floor has a double bedroom with Juliet balcony looking out to sea, a twin bedroom and a modern bathroom with shower. The frontage has ample private space to park two cars. For cosy nights in when Norfolk gets colder, there is a wood burning stove in the lounge making The Beach House self catering cottage a real home-from-home. A television, digital radio, DVD & CD players and a selection of discs and books are provided for your enjoyment.

I have owned The Beach House since it was built in 2006.

I live locally now but originally bought the house to spend time on the beautiful North Norfolk coast as a retreat from busy city life.

I manage the Barn & Beach portfolio, you can find Beach Place, Beach View, Church View (Happisburgh) & Maydrift Cottage (Mundesley) on this site too.

The houses are run and maintained to a high standard so that our guests may enjoy peaceful relaxed breaks on the beautiful Norfolk coast, true homes from home.

I look forward to welcoming you to North Norfolk.

Great location

The property is in an A1 position right on the sea front.

Its practical open plan layout is ideal for a coastal stay. Everything you need for self-catering is provided, beds are comfortable, and for chilly nights the log burner is great.

Perfect Beachside location

This accommodation is just perfect if you love to see the sea crashing up from your bedroom window. What a view! Michael's Beach House has everything you need to make this a perfect self catering beachside holiday. Quiet location but with shops (stocking all that you need nearby) plus pub meals & a great fish & chip cafe. Michael does everything he can to make sure you have a happy holiday.

The beach is accessible via a slipway 50 meters from the front door, the house overlooks the beach which has golden sands and is quietly located away from the village center.

Lovely large empty beaches are also favourites for local anglers, why not bring your rods?


Car is recommended

Nearest train station at North Walsham 5 miles.

Norwich is 23 miles where all major services can be found, airport, train links coach station.


Walcott is located in North East Norfolk

Cromer is 12 miles to the west

Sheringham 16 miles west and Great Yarmouth is 23 miles south.

The vibrant City of Norwich is 17 miles

The Broads begin at Stalham 6 miles south of the Beach House

Further Details:

In the village there is a well stocked store open until 8 pm, a good daytime cafe, a traditional Fish n Chips Shop with cafe, two Public Houses and a hotel serve lunch and evening meals.
