We spent two fantastic weeks in Stable End in August. The cottage is beautiful with two lovely outside sitting areas. Looking out to the fields from our terrace was amazingly peaceful and quiet. The cottage had everything you need and more with a brilliant welcome basket. The swimming pool is stunning. It is clean and kept at just the right temperature, never cold. We were a family of 5 and there was something for everyone. I am definitely going back this year.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We are so pleased that you want to return and we look forward to seeing you again in the summer.

High class accommodation in a superb setting
Mike & Mandy were generous hosts, and we enjoyed our stay very much. The individual properties have loads of character and are set in a large, as you would expect and hope, property with huge open lawns with views, swimming pool and large communal barn conversion.
The location allows you to visit the Lascaux Caves and Bordeaux. So make the most of getting to Pomerol, Fronsac and so on, which are only 1 hour down the road. You're mad if your car is not fully loaded for your return!
Best wishes to Mike & Mandy for the forthcoming seasons. Sallie & Dean
