A lovely cottage with everything you could need
Willow cottage suited me perfectly, cosy and very comfortable with a super laundry room next door. I didn't have a car but managed fine without, there is a bus stop outside the property and it is only a 15 minute walk to Hathersage where is there is a train station. So many lovely walks to explore, public footpaths everywhere, I would like to return in the spring/summer to see the area in its full glory!
Comfortable and well located.
Easy access to all North Peak District attractions, walking, golf and cultural attractions. Great drying room for all your gear and storage .
Very helpful host and area of the Peaks is lovely
We did some of the best cycling ever from this property, the area is beautiful. The hosts was very helpful in terms of making sure we had what we needed (washing machine, drying room, wifi). Well equipped and lovely shower and also let us leave our bikes inside which was very kind.
Just on the main road meaning easy to drive to anywhere and Hathersage is only a fifteen minute walk (amazing Indian food at Maazi, really lovely!)
Is also close to a trainline, my Dad was jealous when calling as he could hear the train in the background and loves trains, he may well be booking!
We really enjoyed our stay and thanks for the kitkats!
Super cottage, great location and really well appointed.
Really super welcome on arrival from Helen started a brilliant weekend stay at willow cottage. We used it as a base for walking and it is really brilliantly located for amazing walks locally, for hope valley and all the peak offers.
Great pubs in hathersage. The cottage is really well appointed and has everything you need for any length of stay. Super!
The only improvement is that we would like to stay with our family and the owners could make one of the sofas into a sofa bed so the cottage sleeps 4 and not 2 so it can be for a family holiday. It has plenty of room to enable this.
We will definitely be back. ❤️
These cottages are fabulous
The cottages were exceptionally well equipped, clean, warm and comfortable. The location is excellent for walking and exploring the district. We hired both for the weekend as we were a group of six and there was plenty of space with the boot warming/storage annex an excellent bonus. We visited the local pub, the Scotmans Pack and received a very warm welcome. The owner was quick to respond to emails and I would highly recommend either cottage. We will definitely book again.
A clean and newly refurbished property located close to Hathersage and ideal for walkers and climbers. Quiet, comfortable and very welcoming and friendly hosts full of information. Overall, an excellent stay!
