Apartment in Swanage, Dorest, England - Convenient Location, 2 Minute Walk to Town Centre, Cafes and Galleries.

Our spacious apartment is situated on the ground floor of a substantial building that was constructed around the turn of the 20th century. It stands in a convenient position, about 100m from the sea front, and a 2 minute walk to the town centre and famous steam railway. The apartment comes with an allocated parking space.

It has two double bedrooms a bathroom and a separate toilet as well .

We are a non-smoking establishment.

About Louise Palmiero

My name is Louise - I live in Milton Keynes with my husband and five children .

As a child i enjoyed lots of family holidays In Swanage and I fell in love with this quaint seaside town , lots of wonderful memories . My children now love it as much as I do and my two eldest have been on holidays there too !

When my dear dad died, a few years ago, and left some inheritance - we thought he would have approved of us buying a flat and carrying on with the memories . My sister lives in Scotland , my mum near us , so between us and our children we all use it and love it there .

When we are not using it we rent it out - hope you love it as much as we all do !

As soon as we looked at this property we all loved it . A beautiful, high ceilinged , spacious , ground floor apartment that had a lovely feeling about it . The location was more than we had hoped for - so close to the beach you can wear your swimming stuff down ( if your brave enough!!!!! ) a few minutes to the town and out of the back door , bottom of the road - the green that looks out to sea ( sometimes I take a cup of tea down there , sit on the bench and take it all in ) !

Really the perfect location in Swanage

It's really great to stay so close to the beach and to the town -- but in a fairly quiet place (no disturbance from traffic or party goers). Being close to the town is good: no need for us to do a big supermarket trip on the first day: there are two supermarkets a block away from the house so we stocked up as needed. Being close to the beach is better: we were able to beat the traffic on a sticky hot August Bank Holiday Monday by strolling over the park to the beach!

Local things we did: road trip to Bournemouth and Upton, cliff walks to Durlston Country Park and Old Harry Rocks (different days), full day at Brownsea Island where we saw red squirrels, full day at Studland Bay where we toasted marshmallows, and lots of beach and sandcastles.

The apartment is quite spacious with very high ceilings and mainly large rooms. Having two toilet rooms is good. The courtyard behind the flat has lots of washing line space for beach towels and swimwear. I also really appreciated that the recycling was easy---lots of holiday rentals don't have the correct bins and we tend to bring our recycling away with us!

Things that could be easily improved: a lower mirror in the bathroom and a teapot in the kitchen. (It is a small kitchen, but there is room for a teapot!)

This apartment is perfectly positioned, the location couldn't be any better

We enjoyed our stay in Swanage & Dorset immensely. The apartment is light, airy and has all the conveniences we needed. The location was absolutely perfect, 100m from the beach, 5 mins walk from town and the off street parking was ideal. We couldn't have been more pleased and we found Louise to be very amiable.

Fantastic, well positioned & presented apartment

What a glorious place. Two mins walk from the seafront and only ten mins from pretty much anywhere you'd want to go in the town. The property is huge, well equipped with everything you could need. Can't recommend it enough.

Excellent position in beautiful seaside town

All I need to say is this apartment is perfect in every way for a stay in the most beautiful seaside resort I've been to. It was easy to find, just stay on the main road going into Swanage towards the beach and it'll come up on your left just before a set of lights. Apart from the kitchen the apartment is huge with 2 really good size double rooms and plenty of cupboard space skattered throughout. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. The advert doesn't lie, it is literally a 2 mins stroll from the beach and 5 mins at a very slow walk to the High Street where you'll find shops, restaurants and bars. All in all this was the best holiday we've had on the English mainland and a lot of that was down to Louise's fantastic apartment (that's the view of everyone in my party). I would definitely recommend staying at this apartment to couples or families alike. Can't wait to go again
