Villas in Wootton Bridge, near East Cowes, Isle of Wight, England - Quiet And Relaxing Within Private Gardens, Short Walk To Local Beaches

These 3 delightful 2-bedroom holiday villas sleep up to 6 people and are situated in a secluded waterside location. Each has a master bedroom with en suite WC & shower room, twin bedroom, separate family bathroom, lounge and kitchen/diner. There is an outdoor terrace at the front of each villa, overlooking the creek across the gardens, as well as allocated parking. Located on a private park with gardens running down to the creek, these holiday villas are in a peaceful and relaxing waterside setting, just 5-10 minutes’ drive from the ferry terminal at Fishbourne. All 3 cottages are situated next door to one another, which makes for perfect accommodation for larger groups who would like to be in neighbouring properties.

About Katie McAlister

I live in England with my partner and 9-year-old daughter. We love our trips to the Isle of Wight, in particular for the variety of attractions that the island offers us all. We have thoroughly enjoyed our family trips to the infamous Blackgang Chine and Robin Hill Adventure Park, as well as some wonderful meals out at the many top class restaurants on the island. There are also beautiful walks at Alum Bay in the Needles Park and through the beauty of Shanklin Chine that we would thoroughly recommend to all.

Being into our sailing, we love the excitement that the many sailing events bring to the Isle of Wight including Round the Island Yacht race in June, which is a wonderful sight and with the holiday villa being close to Cowes, it's ideal for the Cowes Week Sailing Regatta in August

What makes this villa unique

The holiday villas are ideally located just 5 minutes from the ferry terminal at Fishbourne and within easy reach of all the island's main attractions.

Given that there are 3 holiday villas next door to one another, they are ideal for larger groups wanting to stay in neighbouring properties. We have taken advantage of this in the past and had the wider family come to stay in all 3 properties. Plus given that each property has allocated parking, there is ample space to park all three cars.

The waterfront views make it a beautiful, peaceful and relaxing base for a stay on the island.

Very nice Villa with a great view of the creek

Lovely little Villa in a great location. Nothings very far away and its only 10 minutes from the ferry port and there's a shingle beach 5 minutes up the road. We had a great break and Katie the owner was absolutely fantastic with plenty of communication. The Villa was perfect for our family of 4 and 2 dogs. We stayed the week before Cowes week so the island was just starting to get busy on the last friday but other that it was pretty quiet. You do have to allow a bit of extra time driving though as the traffic jams into the main towns were fairly long. I think this is down to there basically being one main road around the island. Well worth a visit was the needles old battery, albeit very windy and the tank museum (which my wife and daughter even enjoyed). Overall a great break and we would definitely stay at Rockville again. :)

Comfortable property in excellent location

A very nice 2 bedroom property in a quiet location, ideally situated close to ferry ports and excellent eateries. We were very comfortable, despite appalling weather, and found plenty of locations to keep us occupied. I would recommend this property without hesitation.

Beautiful location, lovely place to stay

This is a lovely place to stay with fantastic views from the deck outside over the creek.

The property was clean and well equipped, especially the kitchen

We are a family of 5- 2 adults, 2 teenagers and a 12 year old plus dog and we had plenty of space, the double sofa bed is very comfy.

Very helpful owner who answered all of my questions quickly.

I would definitely recommend this holiday home and hope we will be back next year.

Lovely cottage in a good location

This is a nice cottage with a central location. There is a lovely creek that it overlooks. Very close to Ryde which has a lovely beach and Newport the main town.

The cottage was good size for a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children). The property was clean and had basic kitchen equipment. The owner was very helpful and the booking process was easy.

Would book the cottage again and would recommend to friends.

Many other local restaurants are a short drive away.
