A well located, nicely appointed comfortable apartment

We were very comfortable here - it's a very clean apartment, simply decorated and with every detail carefully thought out. It's also very close to everything and yet really quiet - we both would recommend this for someone who wants to be close to activities in the town and yet easily able to explore the surroundings - by car or bus.

Beautiful apartment, well equipped, spotlessly clean, bright and airy. The owner, Mrs Manning was extremely helpful. There were fresh flowers on the table, 2 loaves in the breadbin, milk and eggs in the fridge which was much appreciated. Lovely large bedroom and excellent shower room. Extremely comfortable living room. Very convenient for the town of Buxton, just a 10 minute stroll to The Opera House with local shops just 2 to 3 minutes away. A great base for exploring Derbyshire.

Clean, cosy everything you need!

Had a fantastic stay in the apartment, it was super warm and cosy and clean to the highest of standards! Great location with many places to eat nearby. Couldn't say a bad word about the place or the hosts, definitely worth a stay if your looking to explore the peak district.

Very nice. Warm, comfy and very well situated. Buxton is a great place to base a visit to Derbyshire, and the apartment is great base for Buxton.

A lovely place to stay for our Christmas break!

A comfortable and clean appartment in the centre of Buxton. Towels and breakfast essentials (tea, milk, bread etc) were provided. As well as extras such as TV, books and board games.

The hosts were also very accommodating and friendly, making the stay even more enjoyable.

Overall the perfect place to stay if you want a 'homely' feel. We definitely hope to stay again this Christmas!

excellent stay

very homely stay and clean. well thought out and smallest of things which were provided made the difference. huge king size bed, nice toilet facilities. cosy kitchen and living room.

Special interest holidays:

We are in easy walking distance of the varied attractions Buxton has to offer.

Cyclists: the big three routes are less than 15 minutes drive away: The Monsal Trail, The High Peak and Tissington Trail.

For MTBs Dark Peak and White Peak are fantastic!

From the Apartment front door it is just an 8 minute stroll through the Park to the Buxton Opera House & the Pavilion Arts Centre. Buxton Art Gallery, Pooles Cavern and Buxton Swimming pool are great places to keep you amused in all weathers.
