Fantastic!! What a beautiful cottage and location. Staying here was just what the doctor ordered, peace and quite. Would love to come back and explore further, or just sit in the garden and take in the views. Thanks for letting us rent your jewel in the crown
A gorgeous cottage in a lovely peaceful setting. Views over Arkengarthdale outstanding. Thanks - we'll be returning.
Perfect location - tastefully renovated and decorated, spotlessly clean, beautiful views. The cottage has everything you need to make it home from home. Would definitely stay her again.
Perfect holiday cottage. Great location for exploring the Dales.
We were a party of 4 adults and 2 dogs, the living space was adequately sized and cosy. It was well equipped with everything we needed. The garden was amazing; well kept, BBQ, stunning views and enclosed so safe for the dogs.
Great pub 2 minutes walk from the cottage, good food and dog friendly.
We had a problem with the wifi, one quick call to the owner and the problem was rectified.
All in all a great experience, would definitely rent again.
Expect more than can be described in a few lines. Suffice to say, we were delighted with Waller Cottage. It is stylish and comfortable and not in the slightest bit twee. We loved the peace and quiet that surrounds this lovely home. It is well equipped and caters for the all season traveler with a lovely back garden with stunning views. The CB Inn is only 5 minutes away and serves delicious food and excellent wine. The owner was extremely kind and helpful and we can't wait to go back in the spring. Highly recommend and we are not easily pleased.
Notwithstanding the horizontal snow on arrival, the week developed into fabulous Spring weather showing the Dale at its best. A very welcoming cottage, compact, warm and well set up with all that 4 keen walkers and a Scottie needed. So many places to walk and visit within a short drive, excellent dinner at the CB Inn, and a gem of a Swaledale village in Reeth just down the road. Thank you, we'll be back.
One tip - do your food shopping in Richmond on the way there (Co-op very good), as it's a longish drive back and the store in Reeth is limited.
We stayed at Waller Cottage for a New Years Eve break with the in-laws and our dogs and it was a great find. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you need. Inside it is modern and tastefully decorated - we loved the log-fire at this time of year and the beds were very comfy. The views are stunning and the location is ideal for walks straight from the door. The CB Inn 200 yards down the road is another bonus and does good food with really friendly staff. 5 minutes away in the car is Reeth - a nice little village with shops, craft centre, a couple of pubs and coffee shops. We will definitely return in summer to make the most of the garden!
What can we say, we love this cottage. It is ideal when you have been working all week and want a proper Chill break. The views and walks are fantastic. This cottage has everything, is warm and cosy, and very well looked after. We have already recommended this property to our family , and they also enjoyed their stay. We have been back and will go back to this cottage again.
Excellent location for great walks, right near The CB inn, so handy for a pint & good food!
The cottage has everything you need and is a wonderful base, really cosy and really clean and homely.
