About Jari Arila

We are a Finnish family with four kids fell in love with sunny Costa del Sol a few years back and decided to permanently settle here; it was possible because of both Finnish and international schooling available on the coast and us being entrepreneurs. We all have loved every day of it!

We especially Torreblanca area as it is very close to everything yet very calm and pictoresque - easy to go to the shopping malls, movies, different hobbies, towns along the coast from the Torreblanca train station 5 minutes away from our villa, or by walk to the beach paseo with chirinquitos, beach stores, entertainment and good dining!

Malaga airport just some 20 minutes away. From Malaga airport you have about 20 minutes to our villa by local train; villa is just up to the hill from the Torreblanca train station!

The private swimming pool, BBQ and wet bar make your holiday really easy and relaxing - you actually don't have to leave anywhere if you don't feel like that!

Renovated villa, good location.

Stayed for a week with a family of 7 adults and one teenager. Villa is well located, renovated to scandinavian taste and well equipped. However the textiles eg on sofas, kitchen chairs and outdoor furniture had seen their better days. The pool area felt a bit crowded for 8 and the pool itself is quite small. Surrounding plants also dropped a lot of leaves and berries, giving the pool and surrounding area its share. Parking for one car only was a bit of a problem us having two.

Lovely villa in a perfect location

I loved the villa and it's location as it was in easy walking distance to the train station (2 minutes) and the beach (5 minutes). There is also a substantial supermarket opposite the train station which was so useful. There are plenty of restaurants along the beach front and if you are up for walking or jogging you can go from Torreblanca to Los Boliches then on to Fuengirola without needing to use the train. Each of the resorts are beautiful and so clean and well kept. We had a lot of enjoyable meals out and didn't go anywhere that the food wasn't excellent. Sam's and Pam La Casa De La Pizza (Mexican, Italian & Indian) are two we would highly recommend. With regards to the villa, we were happy to turn up to a lovely clean house but we were only slightly disappointed there was no milk or tea and some bread and butter for the morning as we did get to the villa late and after all the shops were shut. The layout of the villa is nice and most of the interior was really lovely. We were slightly worried by the light fittings hanging away from the ceiling and flickering when you turned them on (we did not use them in the end) and the white furniture in the living room and dining room where very stained but, as everything else appeared to be clean we did not let it bother us. The internet connection was excellent. There was a good selection of kitchen ware but only one tea/coffee mug! Overall, we would recommend this villa for it's fabulous location, spaciousness, cleanliness, the fantastic views, the lovely garden and pool and the privacy. Also, you wouldn't find a more accommodating and friendly couple as Jari and Minna (owners), they are really fabulous and nothing was too much bother. We wish them lots of luck in the future and we would love to come back one day.

About 20 minutes from the Malaga Airport. One can easily come with the train directly from the Malaga Airport to Torreblanca train station. The train station is only a few minutes away from the Villa. This villa can easily be fully enjoyed without a car and travel by train, buses and taxes around.


Torreblanca, Fuengirola is in a great place near the beach and main roads - about 30 km to both Malaga and Marbella, 110 km to Gibraltar, 150 km to Granada, 220 km to Sevilla.

Mijas Pueblo 9 km, Benalmadena Pueblo 7 km, Ronda 90 km, Nerja 90 km.
