Jackie & Reuben Higgins purchased this house in 2006
"I stayed in natures rest with my sister and both our families and found it brilliant. There was everything we needed there. We found the 2nd sitting room very useful for the kids who used it to watch dvds while the adults could enjoy there own space in the main room. There is so much too do in this area, we went go-karting, surfing and really enjoyed a traditional music session in McGowans public house in nearby Easkey. Overall i would strongly recommend this house to anyone. We will definitely be back again next year. Máireád Kerry

The Higgins Lodge is a perfect house for a weekend escape! We were a group of 10 and the house was just perfect. The rooms and bathrooms were in perfect condition. What was best was the cosy and big living room where we could spend drinking a glass of whiskey in front of the fire.
Templeboy is situated perfectly to go surfing either in Easkey, Strandhill or Enniscore.
I can absolutely recommend this stay at the west coast! The owners Jackie and Reuben are just lovely people! Thanks for the stay!
The Higgins Lodge is a wonderful place:
Lovely hosts who made us feel familiar right from the beginning. Above all very helpful with every question we asked about the area and further more!
We enjoy great holidays in the countryside with an awesome view over the fields in every direction. Above all ocean view from the living room! It just takes us a view minutes by car to get to the beach.
The house offers a lot of space, every single bedroom has it´s own bathroom. Not least the big and functional kitchen and facilities, especially the comfortable fireside in the living room!
Furthermore fresh milk directly from the farm and delicious apples right from the garden leave nothing to be desired...
Many thanks and kind regards to the higgins family for the heartily hospitality and gorgeous time we are allowed to experience!
Special interest holidays:
As we are a working dairy farm, guests often enjoy watching the cows being milked and feeding baby calves in the Springtime. We are very energy conscious and have our own 15Kw wind turbine and solar panels. The owner can give those interested a tour of the above. We have an old castle on our land, in which the steps to the second floor goes up within the exterior wall. Guests are welcome to have a look.
