Our two bedroomed ground floor apartment has recently been completely refurbished. It has stunning panoramic sea views, a private garden, parking and is within walking distance of Dalkey village, the Dart train station and spectacular coastal walks.

Charming Apartment in an Excellent Location
We greatly enjoyed our stay at the apartment in Dalkey. The apartment is small, but very cozy clean and well planned. The kitchen has everything we needed, and having the washer/dryer was very convenient. The beds were comfortable and the bedroom had plenty of space for suitcases and storage. The view from the patio was STUNNING. The photos don't even begin to show how lovely the garden and view are.
We walked into town from the house every day. Dalkey was a great base for visiting Ireland. Quiet and friendly with plenty of restaurants and shops and very easy access to Dublin on the train. The town also has a lovely small bay and island and an historic castle. Be aware, the walk back to the apartment from town center is pretty steep. We had no problem, but if you have mobility issues it might be a challenge.
We have used VRBO in many cities and countries and this has been one of our favorite stays! Highly recommended.
We really enjoyed our short break in Dalkey. It's a lovely village with interesting shops and a fantastic choice of pubs, cafes and restaurants. The apartment is small but very well designed and presented, with fabulous views out to sea from the kitchen, living room and garden. Our bed was really comfortable and the reclining chairs were a nice bonus. We didn't have a car during our stay and managed perfectly well - the Dart train service is excellent value for money and it's easy to get in to Dublin City centre and visit other places along the coast. If you are on foot you need to be aware that there are hills in and around Dalkey and the apartment is a bit of a climb from the village centre. But we quickly got used to this and enjoyed a fabulous walk along the coast and up Killiney Hill where the views are just stunning. Highly recommended.
We travel extensively internationally and highly recommend this property. Good access by car to Dublin airport and ferry ports. Lovely walks nearby. superb views. Modern, clean, looked after. Good base for day visits to Dublin and many parts of Ireland. Owner trusting and trustworthy.

Mare e montagna insieme: una meraviglia!
Casa molto accogliente in bellissima posizione, con ampia vista sul mare e monti innevati in lontananza. Ambiente pulito e con abbondanza di accessori. Letti comodi e buon riscaldamento. Molto vicini paese, negozi, trasporti (non necessaria l’automobile). Alla prenotazione fornite istruzioni complete e dettagliate per ogni necessità. Esperienza da consigliare!
Special interest holidays: The apartment is a 5 minute walk to Dalkey Dart station with regular trains into the city ( 25 mintes) or south to Wicklow.Fishing is available from Bullock Harbour Swim at Killiney Beach, Sandycove or Seapoint. Walk over Dalkey Hill - 10 minutes- for spectacular views and wonderful exercise Bus, train and taxi services are available in Dalkey. The Dalkey Book Festival, The Lobster Festival, The Blessing of the Boats at Bullock Harbour and Jazz Festival are among various local and international popular events. Visit the 7 Castles of Dalkey and maybe even meet the King of Dalkey Walk the Dun Laoghaire East Pier with the locals Enjoy a Teddy's Ice Cream on the seafront Take a trip on the Dublin Bay Ferry from the East Pier Visit the James Joyce Tower in Sandycove Coast/Beach: Dalkey village and Colemore Harbour are a five minute walk from the apartment. Killiney beach is a five minute drive. Travel: When flying into Dublin Airport, access to Dalkey is exceptionally easy with the hourly Aircoach service to and from the airport which takes 45 minutes and operates daily. Dun Laoghaire port is 10 minutes drive, whilst Dublin Port is 30 minutes drive. Car hire is available either at the airport or locally Distances: Dalkey village is a six minute walk, past the famous Finnegan's Pub. Dun Laoghaire, the nearest town is a ten minute drive or a 30 minute coastal walk. Dublin is a 25 minute train journey to the city center. Further Details: Dalkey is famous for its relaxed village feel within commuting distance of Dublin. An excellent selection of pubs, Gourmet and casual restaurants, specialist food shops, art galleries, the weekend market at the Tramyard along with historic monuments make it a popular base for famous authors, musicians and politicians. There is always something to do in Dalkey!

Booking Notes: A deposit of €100, is required to secure the booking. The balance is required 6 weeks before the commencement of your stay. Shorter stays for a minimum of three nights may be available at a rate of €110 per night. Further details are provided when booking.Booking Notes: To make a booking, preferably telephone me on 01789 299826 and I will hold the week/s for you, for 5 days pending the arrival of a deposit for £100 per week when booked direct.. The balance will then be due 6 weeks before the start of your holiday. Bookings made within 6 weeks must pay the full amount when booking. Bank transfers are also accepted. Bookings made via the Owners Direct website will incur additional charges but will offer full insurance for your booking. Changeover Day: Saturday is our change over day in season. Notes on prices: Short breaks out of season are available at £120 per night with a minimum stay of three nights.
