Situated on a small development on the outskirts of the quiet village of Alethriko, set in a rural and tranquil valley, surrounded by farmland, and yet only 15 minutes drive from the centre of Larnaca. Due to its high quality of properties and its’ nearby planned golf course, Alethriko is often referred to as 'The Hollywood of Larnaca'! The village centre and nearest Taverna is a 10 minute walk away and there are two excellent Tavernas offering local cuisine. For those who enjoy walking there are tracks leading up to the top of the hills of the valley to admire the breathtaking sea view to one side and the panoramic views over the valley on the other. Nearest beaches are 10 minutes drive away.
Anassa Villa is owned by Phil and Sheila Wood who live in Shropshire, England. Phil is a Chartered Accountant (and managing director of Barringtons Limited) and Sheila is a Principal Social Worker. They both love overseas travel and have travelled extensively. The villa benefits from their substantial holiday experiences, with all the luxuries which they would expect as guests to ensure that you will have a fantastic holiday.
Angela Parouti purchased this villa in 2014
Ideally situated for access from and to the airport (a 15 minute drive with no overhead flight paths), Alethriko is a beautiful and peaceful village with friendly local Tavernas, and a superb super market. With the cosmopolitan hub of Larnaca just a 15 minute drive away, your unforgettable Cyprus holiday will offer the perfect combination of relaxation, culture and activities!
Anassa Villa is a lovely property, the facilities can’t be faulted and all the rooms are well maintained and have A/C. With a large living room and dining table including a 3D TV (if you have time), and a very well equipped kitchen with lots of useful additions (utensils, Tupperware, freeze/ice packs, brevil grill etc.). But it’s the outside where we spent most of our time and where the villa really excels, with a decent size pool, good quality loungers, a lovely shaded eating area (where we ate all our meals) and a great BBQ (also used for every meal!). The pool is shaded by the villa until mid-morning and then the sun works its way across it, but the rest of the outside area has sun throughout the day!
I can’t really find fault with the villa, and the service we received from Angela was exceptional with her helping to try to source a hire car after ours fell through before arriving.
Our second visit to this wonderful villa
We stayed for 11 days...came last year and booked within a month to return.
The villa is absolutely fantastic...it has every amenity you could ask for...the villa is spacious and well furnished. SMART TV makes watching UK TV very easy!! We went with our 4 yr old and both sets of grandparents. The pool is lovely and we spent hours on end in it.
The outside area is stunning with a beautiful shaded area to eat. The BBQ is great and the pool/table tennis table kept us amused too.
Set in a quiet location in a lovely friendly village...we'll be back again for sure!!
Angela, the villa manager, is amazing....shes on hand whatever you need. She is very friendly and helpful
5 star....book today!!!
Had a fantastic weeks stay at Anassa Villa, my only regret was not booking two weeks. Already planning on going back next year.
The villa itself is modern, clean and spacious with fantastic facilities. The pool is great, particularity if you have younger children, as it's quite shallow at one end and only has a very gradual slope so it feels a lot safer than other pools meaning the parents can relax a bit more.
Angela, the property manager is very friendly and helpful. My son managed to leave his bag at the local taverna and they got in touch with Angela to let us know it was there. Unfortunately we weren't able to collect it before we had to return home so Angela is very kindly collecting it and posting it back to the UK for us. She also offers a food ordering service which means if you are arriving late you can have all the essentials and anything else you need waiting for you when you arrive.
The villa is located in the small village of Alethriko, the village has a couple of taverna's, a bakery, a takeaway and a small shop. The nearest supermarket is about 10 minutes drive. We only tried one of the taverna's as the other was closed but the food their is good and very reasonably priced but the menu is quite small.
Larnaca is only 15 minutes away and has lots of restaurants to choice from.
If you want to see a bit more of Cyprus, Limassol and Ayia Napa are about 45 minutes away, both have big waterparks, and Nicosia is about an hours drive. We had a nice 'Turkish' meal after crossing the border.
Would definitely recommend Anassa Villa and Cyprus in general. Really nice people, good food and ice cold beer.
The villa is very spacious and immaculately presented. The outside area has comfortable loungers to relax on and a covered area to sit and dine at. Angela, the property manager welcomes you with her professional and friendly manner and provides valuable, useful information to make your stay enjoyable. The villa is situated a short drive from Larnaca airport and is within easy reach of the local shops. A supermarket, bakery and grocers store are ideal to get all your fresh provisions. There are numerous tavernas and restaurants to tempt you to enjoy the local dishes. Beaches, fishing villages and a water park are easily accessed with a hire car and there are other numerous places of interest to visit. The main benefit we enjoyed was the privacy and luxury of having your own space and the option to venture out when it suited.
Very spacious and clean. Well equipped and furnished well. The ensuite bathroom was a bit of a tight squeeze but ok.
There were plenty of towels for everyone: 8 bath towels, 8 hand towels and 8 pool towels. The pool was lovely. It was cleaned every few days. 8 sun loungers (very comfortable) and plenty of pool toys to keep the kids occupied. Outdoor shower too.
The table tennis and pool table in the garage are 'well used'. But actually still a very good facility as it gives the children (and adults) something else to do and keeps you out of the sun for a while. The bikes are also stored in the garage. This makes it a bit cramped and difficult to pick up up stray ping pong balls. It would be better if the bikes could be removed.
Angela was very quick and helpful with a few very minor issues.
The villa was in a quiet residential street. As long as you hire a car, it is about 15 minutes to beaches and restaurants.
Overall, we had a lovely holiday in good accommodation.
Everything about this villa was perfect for our family stay (3 adult couples and a 2 year old). It was clean, beautifully furnished and included everything you need for a home away from home. Angela, the manager, was very helpful from the beginning of our booking right to the end, supplying cot, high chair and even a potty! She popped in on our arrival to ensure we had everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble. The location was nice and quiet, but close enough by car to local tavernas for food, Kokos Taverna does a brilliant pitta souvlaki! Just a short drive to local beaches and to McKenzy Beach in Larnaca if you want company. Alternatively spend quality time around the beautiful pool. In fact we really want to keep it to ourselves, but the secret is out! Would definitely stay there again. Thank you Angela!

Larnaca is a very cosmopolitan town offering everything you need for a fantastic holiday. It is often unappreciated by those who don’t know any better, who think it is merely home for the islands' main International Airport. Larnaca boasts a beautiful promenade lined with palm trees and pavement cafes, a marina full of multi-million pound yachts and boats, boat trips, world-wide cuisine, great shopping (Zara and Mango are here!), sandy beaches, water sports, good nightlife, history, culture and tradition. In addition to all of the things Larnaca its self has to offer it is perfectly placed on the island making it an ideal base from which to explore the rest of the island.
Villa Anassa is 1km from the centre of the village and just a short walk to the nearest taverna-12 euros for a massive meze (big mix of grilled meats, salad and lovely Cypriot potatoes). Lots of other tavernas within 15 minutes' drive to many of the nearby villages or a 15 minute drive down the coast to Zigi or Makenzie for a fabulous fish meze. You are spoilt for choice and certainly won't go hungry!
There is a good supermarket in the village, and other larger ones 10 minutes' drive away in the next village. Mega supermarkets like Carrefour 15 minutes' drive away in Larnaca.
