I live in the UK with my husband and two teenage children. We all enjoy skiing and the Portes du Soleil ski area has allowed the children (if not me), to become great skiiers.

Just returned from Morzine after spending a week with all the family in this great chalet for Christmas.
Really well equipped with all that's needed in the kitchen if you fancy cooking for yourself, lots of games, videos and entertainment especially the Sonos, free sat television and a games console upstairs.
Good situation as lots of very good restaurants close by and also a supermarket for all your needs.
Morzine is a fantastic destination for the beginner to advanced skier with lots more to offer within the village. For a non skier like myself there are lots of interesting shops to visit and some great walks to pass the time when the rest have a great time up the slopes.
Will definately return to this chalet as we all had such a great time.
This modern apartment is well laid out and equipped. The living area is comfortable and benefits from good natural light. It's only 10 minutes walk to a supermarket and there are plenty of restaurants (and even a takeaway pizza place) on the way into the centre. A good bus service helps if you are carrying skis or just tired!
Would definitely recommend especially for a family group.
We had a fantastic stay in this apartment. The location was great, close enough to walk to the super morzine lift and the bars and restaurants. The apartment itself was clean and modern. The living space was more than ample for 7 adults. I would recommend this apartment and we would book it again

The property is very well appointed and has everything we needed and more. It was spotless, spacious, well laid-out and modern. The owners are very accommodating and easy to deal with and there are a number of good bars, restaurants and wine bars within 5-10 minutes walk. I would thoroughly recommend this property for large family groups or groups of friends. The ski hire shop suggested by the owners was also excellent, very conveniently located and stored our skis and boots overnight with an great drying facility. I will definitely be returning to this apartment.
Firstly let me qualify my review. This feedback is with due regard to the price of the apartment and its location. I am not suggesting this is similar to a 5 star hotel but its value for money is definitely 5 star.
The photographs dont really do the property justice as the facilities are very good and the newly fitted kitchen is excellent. The reception area is ample for 8 people. as with most french apartments 3 of the 4 bedrooms are compact but you only need a bed and a cupboard. The 4 bed room would be excellent for younger ones with its entertainiment system.
The aprtment is located 10 minutes walk from the town centre (a short distance from the main road) but I have walked it in ski boots, although the regular (every 10 mins at peak) bus service is about 1 minute away. The short walk to town has numerous restauarants on route and a large supermarket in less than 5 minutes. In short, you dont have to worry about walking. There are 2 bathrooms without toilets and 2 separate w.c.'s all of which are in excellent condition. The apartment was immacualte when we arrived and well looked after. There's a separate internal boot store and a secure ski store (although I left skis and boots in town at the hire shop). If you havent visted morzine before its very British with huge ski areas. Venture over to switzerland for empty slopes. I would happily recommend this apartment .
No car required as there are many transfer companies operating between Geneva (and Lyon) airport. Car not needed to access pistes.
