Steanbridge Farm Barn is a newly converted hi tech contemporary dwelling offering so much as a holiday home that it is hard to imagine this not being a place you choose to return to once you've been the first time. Perched on the edge of hill and with incredible views down the Slad Valley, this beautifully presented private barn set in its own 30 acres on the village edge has undergone a huge transformation which not only takes advantage of its awesome position, but internally provides every possible luxury you could want for a holiday.

The top barn is the large master bedroom en-suite with steps down to the other living area. The second en-suite is to the right of the kitchen and is a normal size. This room can be made up as a king size double or twin beds. A Sonos state of the art music system, underfloor heating throughout, built in TV's in all the main rooms, modern, cool furnishings and awesome views give this property complete standout appeal. This luxury barn is ideal for a family or for two couples.

ACCOMMODATION - Entrance through to open plan living space, with large glass windows and doors providing huge views. Living Space, contemporary style and with underfloor heating, two large sofas, wall mounted Freestat TV. There is a Sonos music system which allows to connect to remotely via your smart phone (Sonos app or Spotify) to play music through the barn! Kitchen/Diner, very well equipped, with electric hob, double oven and grill, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and washing machine. There is also an attractive breakfast bar. There is a dining table and four chairs. Master Bedroom, a spacious room with king size double bed (5ft) and wardrobe with shelving, plus large wall mounted Freeview TV; En-suite Bathroom with walk-in shower, huge bath, WC and washbasin - and possibly the biggest and brightest vanity unit we've ever seen! Bedroom Two, located at the other end of the barn from the Master Suite, with double zip-bed (5ft) which can be split into two single beds if preferred. There is also a smart TV with Freesat and DVD player plus En-suite Shower Room with shower, WC and washbasin.

OUTSIDE -- There is a terrace at the front which runs the length of the barn which can be accessed through the various opening doors of the property. There is a table and 4 chairs on the patio plus a new popular outdoor sofa, 2 armchairs and coffee table to enjoy the view, the cushions for these and parasol are kept indoors. Beyond there is a large grassed area where you can play if you wish. The property is surrounded by fields. (Please note that the private drive from Steanbridge Lane to the property is quite steep.) Children Welcome. Cot and High Chair Supplied if requested. Pets Welcome. Ample Parking. Free WiFi included.

                                      Had an amazing week here. So sad to be going home. Yes the drive is very steep but it was good exercise. The view was something you dream about and the 'neighbours' were stunning horses. The dogs were so happy too. The barn has everything you could need and is comfortable and clean and of a high standard. Wish we could stay but thank you for allowing us a moment of peace and tranquility

                                      We didnt get time to write a review in the guest book, as we were too busy looking at the views! As I have a holiday let myself, I appreciate the importance of submitting one.

                                      We arrived on a horrible wet day but as soon as we stepped inside the barn, we were enchanted by the layout, decor, and felt immediately at home. Waking up the following morning, with the sun now shining, we could'nt take our eyes from the views, absolutely breath taking. My daughter was with us, and her partner joined for a few days, we also had 3 dogs with us, who were in seventh heaven. we just opened the door, and they were playing and scouting about in the field to the front, and saying hello to the horses in the fields either side.

                                      You probably need a powerful car to make it up the drive, and if out walking, have to adapt to walking up and down slopes constantly, certainly gets the heart pumping!

                                      I cannot fault anything about this lovely holiday home and its surroundings, maybe the addition of a microwave would have been good, and some hooks to hang coats on arriving back but just minor inconveniences in the scheme of things.

                                      I would'nt hesitate to recommend this lovely place as your home for a week, or two, we will return I am sure of that.

The views over the slad valley are stunning and the location is excellent for walks and touring the Cotswolds. We loved it, and will recommend to family and friends. Thank you.

                                      I have the good fortune to travel and stay in some very beautiful unique places around the world and I had the good fortune to stay at Steanbridge Farm for over two months in the summer of 2014.

                                      The accommodation has been converted and furnished to an extremely high standard.

                                      The beds and linen were fantastic, as was the master bathroom.

                                      You have all the technology you need to be in communication with the outside world or you can just gaze at the stunning view or watch the amazing night sky. I found this place to be truly calming after a hard day at work.

                                      Sophie provided me lots of local information and any problems that arose during my stay, which were few, were dealt with promptly.

                                      I adored my time here and fell in love the Slad Valley.

                                      I would highly recommend this place to anybody.

                                      Travel: This is a location that is very much 'deep in the Cotswolds', reachable either from the M40 or better still via the M4. Once you pull off the motorway, within minutes you are travelling through proper countryside and about to enjoy some of the finest that the Cotswolds has to offer. Distances: The nearest 'town' is Painswick a market town with a wide selection of shops, places to stop and relax and some lovely pubs. Stroud is about 3 miles away where every Saturday there is a Farmer's Market, with organic produce, food, cheeses and much more. There is also a market every Friday morning selling bric-a-brac. Cheltenham and Gloucester are nearby. Cheltenham is about 13 miles away and has a wide selection of shops to choose from plus regular festivals. Further Details: There is a wide selection of shops in Painswick and a greater range in nearby Stroud, which is about 3 miles away, where you will find a Waitrose, Sainsbury's and Tesco's.
