Sundowners is centrally located in Royal Westmoreland within easy reach of all the facilities. With stunning uninterrupted views to the Caribbean the location is tough to beat. The property itself is extremely well maintained as it is our second home in the sun. Set out over three levels, Sundowners is approached through a wonderful private courtyard area. On entering the villa, you walk into a very spacious living environment that opens up onto the sun terrace through three large archway doors, providing a view over the 1st fairway and down to the sea. Just off the main living area is a double bedroom with a separate small sitting area and en suite bathroom. This bedroom also has direct access to the sun terrace. On the top floor is bedroom number two which has two twin beds (can be put together to form a double), en suite bathroom and a lovely private balcony overlooking the Caribbean. The living room has plenty of room to relax in and also benefits from a large satellite TV and music system. Up on the mezzanine floor is the dining room with room for 6 people and a very modern kitchen with all the appliances you will need (please note that we can arrange for a chef to take care of meals should you want, at an additional cost). The property benefits from wonderful cooling breezes and has ceiling fans in all the main rooms, as well as air conditioning in each of the bedrooms. There is also full wifi throughout the villa. A maid service 6 days per week is included in the rent.

About Peter Barrett

We have been holidaying in Barbados for over 25 years and finally bought "Sundowners" as our second home in the sun. We stay in the villa as much as we can, so it really is a home from home and therefore we keep it maintained to the very highest standard.

We have recently had the entire property renovated with a brand new deck area with a lovely canopy to sit out and soak up the golf course and caribbean sea views.

We live mainly in East Sussex in the UK and travel to Barbados as much as we can to enjoy the Bajan way of life and all this wonderful island paradise has to offer.

What makes this villa unique

We feel we have one of the best locations in Royal Westmoreland. The villa is within a stone's throw of the main clubhouse and the pool/gym. It also enjoys views down the first fairway and onto the Caribbean sea beyond.


We have purchased full membership of Royal Westmoreland, providing all of our guests with full access to all the facilities such as pool, gym, beach club, tennis, etc. However, the main benefit of this membership is full access to the golf course and golf facilities at any time. Guests will pay a reduced "members guest" green fee.

Notes on accommodation: We have included golf membership for guests of Sundowners. This entitles you to play anytime, rather than the usual restrictions that apply. You will also receive an extra green fee discount. Outside: Sundowners has a wonderful courtyard as you enter the property, which is completely private and has mature and colourful flowers all around. There is a table and chairs and the area is ideal for having meals outside as it has a door directly from the kitchen. The main outdoor area is the large balcony that runs the length of the villa. Furnished with a large table and chairs, it is the ideal location to enjoys meals, whilst overlooking the golf course and the sea. There are also loungers for you to lie back and soak up the sun. Within a short stroll from the villa, you will find the Sanctuary which as a large swimming pool and jacuzzi. There is also an extremely well equipped gym with six treadmills, six ellipticals, two upright bikes, two recumbent bikes, one rowing machine, Nautilus weight machines, free weights, medicine balls, stretch bands, mats and steps. Utility Room: Separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Plenty of storage space. Beach toys such as snorkelling equipment, buckets and spades, etc are available for guest use. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels (including beach towels) and linen are included in the property and there is a maid service 6 days per week.

This property was well maintained and staffed and had an exceptional view. Our stay was paradise. We were met by the property manager and maid who greeted us with traditional rum punch. The kitchen was well stocked and there was a gas barbecue. From the deck was a breathtaking view of the Caribbean. We enjoyed all the amenities of Royal Westmoreland, including, gym, pool, spa, beach access and of course the golf. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Glorious time in Barbados

The villa was beautifully furnished and a great location for beach golf course and of the rum shacks as well as a host of outstanding restaurants All staff of the Westmorland resort were helpful especially the villa stall who were exceptionally friendly and extremely professional. I would love to go back. Wonderful holiday

Top quality, perfect villa

We have been to Royal Westmoreland at least six times - Sundowners is the best villa we have stayed in. Great decor, lovely deck area (fans and covered over is very helpful when it's 34C) and Michelle as housekeeper is wonderful. We can't fault it ! Had a great holiday.

Fantastic location

We have just returned from a week at Sundowners in Royal Westmoreland. Its a fabulous villa overlooking the golf course, just minutes away from the clubhouse, pool and gym/spa facilities. The owner was very helpful prior to our departure and gave us plenty of recommendations as to where to eat out, our favourite was definately Tides in Holetown. The villa was spacious and clean and we were looked after very well by the villa manager and cleaner who came in every day. Would certainly recommend a visit

Sundowners is less than a 5 minute drive to the nearest beach and only 10 minutes to the Royal Westmoreland Beach Club. All guests of Sundowners have automatic membership of the beach club, with a private beachfront deck, sun loungers, umbrellas and eucalyptus towels. There is also a food and beverage service provided by Mullins Beach Bar staff on the beach. A full range of water sports is available. There is a complimentary shuttle bus service from Royal Westmoreland to the beach club.


Royal Westmorland is approximately 30 minutes from the airport in Bridgetown. We will happily arrange transfers to and from the airport with a meet and greet service. In addition, we can assist with any car rental requirements you may have.


The nearest town is Holetown which has a full range of shopping and banking services. Holetown is less than a 10 minute drive from Royal Westmoreland.
