Well prepared, clean and comfortable. Sunny days for us so we particularly appreciated breakfasting on the garden seat. Very pleased too with the good handy pub's meals
Charming cottage , thoughtfully kitted out. Very warm with heating and a log fire. Lots of good walks from the cottage and in the area. Welcoming pubs in the village.
TV reception sometimes dodgy!
Beautiful little cottage
We stayed in this lovely cottage for three nights in October 2018. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay in the Peak District. The log burner was a bonus for the colder nights. Our 7 year old daughter loved the double attic room. We loved the walk into Castleton with its caverns and great walks. Thank you
Comfortable cottage in a great location
We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was equipped with everything we needed and a great location for exploring. We had wonderful weather on one of the days and walked over to Castleton, coming back via Cave Dale which was fantastic. Our 2 year old enjoyed Bradwell’s playgrounds and there were plenty of nice lunch spots in the area. Thanks!

We had a fabulous week! We went to relax and read with the odd stroll. It was perfect. The cottage was very well presented and extremely welcoming. It was a chilly week in January but with log burner and the heating it was very toasty! We found the locals friendly and chatty, making us feel very welcome! Thank you to everyone - Ivan for such a beautiful cottage and being extremely prompt to emails and the wonderful people of Bradwell.
My husband loved the magic mirror in the bathroom!
