About Leanne Weekes
We are Darren and Leanne Weekes and we live in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire with our 2 children. We fell in love with Ilfracombe and the rest of North Devon in 2007 when we came on holiday here with our 2 girls. We genuinely believe Ilfracombe is the nicest town in Devon and we are amazed every time we come here just how much one small seaside town has to offer. We also think that the restaurants offer some of the nicest food around and the people are so lovely and welcoming. We bought No. 5 Searock in March 2014. We had been searching for our perfect holiday ‘bolt hole’ for over a year. The apartment needed a bit of refurbishment, which was completed in July 2014.
Leanne Weekes purchased this Apartment in 2014
Why Leanne Weekes chose Ilfracombe
Ilfracombe is a fantastic town to enjoy, in a picturesque setting and a perfect base from which to explore the fabulous surrounding coast and countryside. The apartment block could not be in a better location with an amazing view from the balcony that has the most beautiful sunsets.
What makes this Apartment unique
Situated on the sea front and close to the harbour, beaches and town, our apartment has everything you need for a really enjoyable holiday or short break. Despite the amazing food the restaurants have to offer, our apartment is fully equipped for you to enjoy easy, 'home from home' living. The South West facing balcony captures the sun all day long and offers a perfect place to take in the scenes and sunsets and to 'chill out' after a long day sight-seeing, surfing or ‘hanging out’ in North Devon. The apartment suits families, couples and friends who can do as much or as little as they like.

Very nice apartment with lovely views of the promenade and sea. Very well located. Very clean with all the required equipment. Cold outside lovely and warm inside.

Beautiful and modern place to stay
My partner and I stayed at this apartment over the Christmas break for almost five days and we absolutely loved it. Leanne is helpful and very prompt at replying to issues and questions and her housekeeper Naomi is also very helpful with questions. We loved the design of the flat, all the amenities included and the area it's situated in is perfect as it is right in the town centre with cheap car parks nearby.
We adored staying here and hope to stay here again in the future if possible!
Wow what a lovely review. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and would welcome you back anytime!
Had a great stay, excellent location. Clean, tidy property
Clean, tidy, great location.
Very nice property very clean spacious two bedroom apartment. Fantastic view on the balcony.
We had a great time. Location was great to tour the area. Plenty to do.
Good for shopping site seeing. Some very nice bars & restaurants. Definitely stay again.
Thank you for your review. It is good to hear that you enjoyed your stay in our apartment. We would love to see you again!
Lovely apartment in a great location.
The apartment is in a fabulous location being a stones throw from the beach and the harbour. Great facilities and gorgeous looking apartment with everything you could need in it and a lovely balcony with sea views. The only downside was the allocated parking space was never available due to locals using it and we had to pay a lot of money for parking permits for the fortnight as we needed the car close by as we have a young baby. Despite this we had an amazing stay and would definitely come back.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are glad you had a good time and enjoyed staying in the apartment. It is a shame that you never managed to park outside the block but, unfortunately, there is not a lot we can do about the parking situation. We would love to see you again!
Beautiful spot, fantastic time had!
Great apartment with a fabulous view, especially the sunset in the evening. The apartment had everything we needed including toys for the children. A great base to explore North Devon. So much to see and do.
Only reason to score it a 4 instead of 5 is the occasionally free parking space. Making it slightly awkward if you ask the restaurant owner to move his car. If we didn't have the kids we would have parked elsewhere!
Thank you for leaving such a good review and we are glad you enjoyed your stay.
