The area is also full of wonderful ancient walking trails, many of which have been recently restored. In the mountains the well marked trails have stunning views of the Apuan and Apennine mountains. At the house we provide convenient, secure storage space for your hiking and cycling equipment. The house is also great for day trippers who want a tranquil place to relax after adventures as it also has easy access to the beautiful coastline of the Cinque Terre and Gulf of Poets, Pisa, Lucca, Genova, Parma and Florence.
Casa Degli Archi is only 1¼ hours drive from Pisa airport which connects with cities worldwide. Car hire is easy and is the best way to explore Tuscany, vital for this secluded retreat. The house is a 5 minute drive (or 20 minute walk along a footpath) to Fivizzano which has bars, restaurants and a supermarket.
