Weasels Way was formerly part of the old stables, this cottage could comfortably house one or two families. The large kitchen with ample storage space, includes an electric cooker, induction hob, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. The large, comfortable living/dining area has two sets of bi-folding doors on one side, which can be opened up onto a courtyard with a seating area. The dining table seats eight people. The master bedroom is fully furnished, has a kingsize bed with pocket sprung mattress and an ensuite bath area. The other two bedrooms are fully furnished containing two single beds in each and are fitted with comfortable pocket sprung mattresses. The family bathroom is easily accessed by both bedrooms and contains a shower. There is a sofa bed which sleeps two if required. The cottage benefits from underfloor heating, flat screen TV’s & free WIFI. High chairs and cots are available on request. The site has a laundry room where washing facilities are available.

The Tove Valley Cottages have been created by sympathetically converting a former Victorian model farm, which had become redundant from modern farming practices. The aim of Tove Valley Cottages is to create a good quality and environmentally respectful holiday destination within the heart of the UK. We have implemented a biomass heating system for all the cottages, which uses timber harvested from our sustainable farm woodlands. All the cottages are fitted with the latest low energy appliances to help keep our carbon footprint to a minimum. Where possible we have retained many original features and use reclaimed materials to provide an authentic feel, the limestone used has been quarried off the farm and each stone cut and shaped using hand tools and a small hydraulic stone chopper. With easy access to the A5, M1 and M40 this location is ideal for exploring the surrounding area. Milton Keynes and Northampton are only 20 minutes away, Banbury 30 minutes, Oxford, Stratford upon Avon and the Cotswolds all within an hour, you won't need to travel this far if you didn't want to though. There is literature provided with an abundance of things to do and see in the surrounding area. We offer free unlimited internet access, bluetooth media music system, a small welcome pack on your arrival and bed linen and towels. There are various public footpaths around the farm, if you require some fresh air, but the cottages are very spacious with comfortable furniture so as to allow yourself some time to also sit down and relax. We have permitted 3 of the properties to be pet friendly, this includes, Weasels Way, though strict rules apply, please ask for a copy of this on enquiry.

    We require 30% of the total cost to secure your booking then the remaining balance is to be paid 42 days prior to your arrival. If the booking falls within the 42 day period then the full amount is payable upon request.

    Changeover Day:
    No preferred change over day, you may occupy your cottage from 15.00hrs on the day of arrival and vacation is required by 10.00hrs on the day of departure. Any adjustment to this would need to be agreed prior to arrival or departure time.

Notes on accommodation: “We wish you a genuinely heart warming visit to Tove Valley.” The Tove Valley Farm is a working farm, and though we will do our utmost not to disturb your stay, please be mindful that currently there will be remedial work and farm machinery movements. Outside: The cottages have courtyards available to them, which include seating areas and barbecue facilities, brick paved paths lead to the cottage doors, off white stone patio and lawn areas. To the front of the cottages is a large pond with a grass perimeter and a small paddock that houses an abundance of wildlife. At the farm house 2 miles away there's a tennis court which can be made available for hire, though prior arrangements will have to be made. The farm has a number of large pools and the River Tove meandering through it, fishing permits and starter fishing kits can be purchased if you would like to use this facility, rod licenses can be obtained online, we can help you with this if necessary. There is a network of public footpaths across surrounding farm land and an array of cycle routes through the county for you to discover, if you would like to hire bicycles then this can be arranged.

Towcester is a small thriving market town with various pubs and restaurants available, closest one being the Folly just a mile away opposite Towcester racecourse. There is a farmers market and superstores include Waitrose, Tesco, Co-op and Aldi. A mile further in the opposite direction Stoke Bruene has Rookery farm, where you can see their farming practices, canal museum and Blisworth tunnel which is the longest in the UK. Here you can take a boat trip through the tunnel. The Navigation pub, The Boat pub or a nice Indian restaurant are all situated next to the canal. Silverstone circuit hosts many motorsport events through the year, or you would be welcome to just take a look around, they have a visitors centre on site. Milton Keynes has a large shopping centre, a vast array of pubs, clubs and restaurants. There is also Milton Keynes Bowl where music events take place during the summer, Ice Skating, Bowling, the Snowdome and a theatre which hosts entertainment most nights. From October Towcester racecourse will be conducting dog racing nights 3 times weekly and have monthly horse racing during afternoons and evenings. Through the summer months they host fairs and food festivals.
