Situated in the beautiful South Hams village of West Buckland, close to Bantham

Situated in the beautiful South Hams 'Area of Outstanding Beauty' and a short walk to the famous surfing beach at bantham, Holbrook sleeps up to eight people in three bedrooms. The property can be split into two areas and is ideal for two families. The light and airy living area is on the upper floor, making the most of the views, and opening directly on to the rear patio. There is a fresh, modern open plan kitchen/dining area with two large tables and a comfortable living area. There are two generous bathrooms and an additional cloakroom. There is a log burner, freesat HD TV and DVD player, with facilities to plug in your own iPod. Wireless internet access is also available. There is no mobile reception in the house, but there is a landline available for outgoing calls.

A fantastic property in a lovely part of South Devon, the kids loved the trampoline and swing set. The beds are so comfortable! Lots of space in the house. A short drive to the most beautiful beach and the Sloop Inn does great food! We will definitely be visiting again!

Wonderful Devon - sunshine,winding lanes to fabulous beaches,excellent food and this great house

Hidden in a Combe this house enjoyed views of the hills that would help bring your ski fitness way up! From the top of the hills were wonderful views of three beaches and Burgh Island. The house and its owners are very welcoming. The bedrooms and bathrooms are charming and well-equipped (good showers). The sitting room and kitchen use up one big space and very, very well equipped, not just with the basics, but drawers full of games, dvd's and outside are the trampoline, basketball hoop, bicycles and helmets, body boards and outdoor eating spaces for 16. We couldn't believe how well sorted we were - and there were only 6 of us!,

A short walk to The Sloop for excellent food, good local shop/cafe with great views from the coffee terrace and not far at all to Bantham Beach - awesome kite surfing.

The property was accurately described and when we arrived it was spotlessly clean and we would certainly recommend it to friends. Thank you for having us to stay at Holbrook House.

A wonderful place to stay

A fantastic well equipped house with top of the range equipment and comfy beds.

The house has great views of the countryside and the beach is not too far. Kay was very welcoming and a great person to deal with.

Spacious bright and clean, expansive with flexible accommodation, beautiful cotton bedding.

We had a great stay in Kay and Richard's property. We were a large group coast path walking. The house was set up brilliantly for a group of us, and Kay was very flexible and accommodating.The house was bright and spacious with a great open plan living room, and excellent cooking facilities. We were lucky to have great weather, and really enjoyed our breakfast on the patio. Excellent. Can't recommend it highly enough!

Spacious, well equipped and perfectly located

My group had a fantastic weekend. The house was more than big enough for 6 adults, and in a great location to access Bantham.

The weather wasn't great, but the house was very comfortable to just relax in.

The local pub (a 10 minute walk down a very quiet road) was delightful too, with lovely fresh seafood.

The owners were great to deal with, and I'm already looking to book a return visit!

Beautiful and tranquil location....well off the beaten track

We thoroughly enjoyed our break in this holiday house. Perfect for the children who loved the upside down arrangement of the house and trampoline with the lovely garden. Extremely well equipped and very clean. Good location with nearby places of interest easily reached by a short car ride or walking. Owners were very helpful and friendly. Hope to return.

Notes on accommodation: We can provide additional accommodation to allow for 10 people. The property can be split into two units. Each unit would have two bedrooms. Outside: Outside there is an area of lawn with garden table and chairs, sturdy swings and climbing frame as well as a trampoline with safety net (please note: children should always be supervised). There is enough parking on the drive for up to three cars. At the back of the house there is a patio area with barbeque and further table and chairs. Utility Room: There is a side extra kitchen/utility room which has additional fridge, single oven, ceramic hob, washing machine and tumble dryer. The utilities are integrated into the kitchen units and there is a washing machine and tumble dryer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Luxury towels and all linen, duvets and pillows are provided. A wooden cot with mattress, extra travel cot and high chair are available by arrangement. Pets are permitted by prior arrangement. Other: There is a freesat HD TV and DVD player, with facilities to plug in your own iPod. Wireless internet access is also available.
