“Great, immaculate flat in a fabulous section of London. My family (husband, 2 kids under 10) and I had never stayed in an Air B&B before, and I was a bit nervous about how this would work out. Thankfully, the pictures were absolutely accurate and the flat was great. Minimal, chic interior with the bare essentials--soft towels, clean bedding, enough kitchenware to eat in (which we did only for breakfast because there are so many great eateries nearby), a combination washer/dryer, and a darn good hairdryer! We had an issue with the heat, but the team was very responsive and brought in space heaters--they worked brilliantly. The location is fantastic--near adorable shops and some truly amazing bakeries. Very near Victoria Station--making all of the London Underground super convenient. The flat is definitely "vertical living," so if steps are a problem for you, this is NOT the flat for you. Having said that, our kids loved playing hide and go seek on four floors! The bathroom off the stairwell is the only one that offers a shower. The other had no curtain, so it could really only be used for baths. Great towel warmers in both bathrooms! Beds are small and hard, but certainly manageable for a week. Check-in and Check-out were very simple and straightforward. Overall, a really good first experience with Air B&B!”

We booked the property in Ebury Mews with Veeve who were extremely helpful and responsive. Three of our winemakers from France stayed in the property during a weekend event our parent company hosted in SW1, and we also asked to be able to host a smaller gathering at the property during Friday daytime, which was agreed to by both the owner and Veeve on our paying a supplementary fee. Kahve was on hand to meet me on behalf of our guests at 3pm on the Friday, and things could not have gone better (other than having soap in the bathrooms and kitchen!). We and our guests were extremely delighted and inspired by our time spent at the property, and we would be interested in hiring it or a similar venue again from you in future. It has been a pleasure doing business with you.

Nice stay in a very clean and comfortable home.
We stayed at this apartment for 10 days mid-August 2017. We loved the location! It was in an adorable little neighborhood with cute restaurants, shops and stores. It was a quick 10 min walk to Buckingham Palace and St. James Park. We also walked to the History/Science museums as well as the London Eye and other Westminster attractions in about 30 mins. The mews was relatively quiet and the adjacent street not too noisy as far as city streets go. It was also super easy to catch cabs from the adjacent street and a very quick walk to Victoria station (tube/train/bus).
The apartment was clean and had all the basic necessities like washer/dryer combo, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and large fridge/freezer. It did not have air conditioning as the listing had posted but luckily it wasn't that hot this August.
The apartment is vertical living at its best. The whole unit is 4 floors with a small spiral staircase connecting them all together. It was fine for our family (kids ages 4-10) but would not be suitable for small children and older adults. The stairs were very steep and could be a hazard for anyone who cannot climb multiple levels, multiple times a day. On the top floor was a lovely roof deck which we enjoyed as much as we could. Again, difficult to get dinner up the 4 flights to it but very fun for drinks and bites or reading a book in the sun.
There are two big drawbacks to the apartment. One is the bed sizes. While we know UK/European beds are smaller than American beds, these were so small two adults could not sleep in the same bed. They were maybe the American equivalent of a full-size bed but only shorter. And while the sheets and bedding were very nice, the beds themselves were not overly comfortable. The second biggest drawback, but a very easy fix by the owners, was the window treatments. The "shades" were sheer white with holes in them (by design, not because of poor quality). There was no blocking out of any light. We were up with the sun at 5:15am and we found it hard to get to sleep at night because of the street lights. Room darkening shades or curtains would be a huge asset to the apartment.
If the beds and curtains were better, this house would be close to 5 stars because of the location, cleanliness. roof deck and unique London experience (vertical living!).
Buckingham Palace Road is 2 minutes away from this home and is filled with shops, supermarkets and pubs. Apollo Victoria Theatre is 5 minutes away and Harrods can be reached in 15 minutes by foot. A 10-minute walk will take you to Buckingham Palace and a 9-minute walk in the opposite direction will take you to Sloane Square and its vibrant, popular King’s Road which offers plenty of chic boutiques, designer shops, cafés, art galleries, banks and restaurants.
