Why Alison Metcalfe chose Troutbeck
We bought the lodge as a getaway to enjoy with family and friends as a perfect place to relax and chill. Hollytree Lodge is situated in a peaceful, tranquil and scenic valley on 5* Limefitt Park. With stunning fell views, yet close to all local amenities, making it a perfect base to explore the Lake District National Park.

On-site pub an added bonus with reasonably priced food with generous portions and very friendly and efficient bar staff.
Amazing place to stay if visiting Lake district! Very easy to access all the main locations and some really nice views if you climb the mountains behind the lodges! Super clean, had all the necessities, very bright! 10/10
Lovely place to stay. The lodge has everything you need and the little extras were a great touch. Would definitely return.

Four night stay at Troutbeck.
Lovely stay in a wonderful lodge, lovely quiet campsite in the middle of some beautiful countryside. Only minutes away from the huddle and bustle. Highly recommended if you want a quiet peaceful holiday.
Wonderful short break in the lakes
Lovely lodge on a great site. The inside is beautifully furnished and has more than enough facilities, crockery and cutlery. The bed is very comfortable and my wife says the pillows are a 'dream'. I loved the fact that I could get a good walk from the site with a ridge walk all the way to High Street and walking in the opposite direction towards Orest Head and Windermere with fantastic views of the mountains. The site is very handy for getting to Langdale and Grizedale which have some of our favourite walks. All in all a great holiday. Mick and Cathy Bryan
