The villa has 4 gorgeous, individually-styled, air-conditioned bedrooms and a spacious open-plan sitting/dining room with a triple-height domed ceiling and marble floors, plus TV, surround sound, DVD player and an extensive DVD library. Free Wi-fi. The solid acacia dining table extends to comfortably seat 8. The bespoke, fully equipped kitchen has granite worktops and all mod-cons. There is a travertine wet room plus 3 other bathrooms, 2 of which are en-suite. Ample terraces and balconies provide a variety of seating areas as well as a pergola with BBQ beside the 11 x 5.5m swimming pool.

What makes this villa unique

Beautiful, spacious villa on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea with views of the mountains behind. Large bedrooms, two with en-suite bathrooms and two with four-poster beds. 11m overflow pool and wrap-around terraces. Pergola with BBQ. Large garden with fruit trees, vegetables and herbs for picking. Great location between Kyrenia/Girne and Lapta near Alsancak.. Close to shops, restaurants and bars.

Starry Nights, Stunning Days

If you enjoy star gazing with the gentle sound of the Mediterranean lapping nearby, from your own secluded, very high spec villa, this will be for you.

The location is simply perfect. The un-obstructed views of the sea and the mountains really make this the ideal setting for a fabulous holiday. You can walk straight off the terrace and onto the Mediterranean coast!

The love the owners have for this villa is obvious as they have decorated and furnished it to a very high standard and with lots of personal touches and attention to detail. It's spacious, beautifully presented and maintained and has pretty much everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of cutlery, glasses, countless utensils, water cooler etc and quality kitchen equipment all in very good condition (the dishwasher was much used during our stay!) It all made for a very relaxed and carefree holiday.

The villa is large and airy with patio doors leading off the ground floor master bedroom and living areas looking straight onto the Mediterranean. The many windows allowed a good flow of cool air.

The outside area was superb. The 11m pool is surrounded by a large terrace with pergola, barbecue area and garden. The pool is glorious with very few chemicals as it is filled from a well in the garden. The wrap-around balcony gave great views of the sea and the mountains and provided lots of shade when needed. We had lovely evenings sipping the local beer or wine, sitting on one of the terraces looking up at St Hilarion beautifully lit up at night, watching shooting stars, bats in the moonlight and the amazing starscape in a crystal clear sky.

The owners provide house manual with lots of helpful recommendations and information. There's live music and a market at Oris Beach & Bar less than 5 mins walk. Turvetuloa is about 10 mins walk and has amazing mezze and hearty helpings and Kervan does great fajitas and over-looks the Med.

A must rental for families or group of friends. I would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely villa.

Best holiday!!!

We had the most wonderful break staying at this amazing villa. The location is just right - enough off the track to leave you feeling that you have this wonderful part of the headland all to your self, balanced with the ease of walking up the road to all the local amenities that you need. There are some wonderful restaurants near by and the villa is ideally located with most major interest points only 15/20 mins drive away.

The house itself has been wonderfully designed and up kept. Enough family and communal spaces to relax in balanced with huge bedrooms and breathtaking views. The views which you have straight from your bedroom out onto the sea, make getting up from having your morning cup of coffee in bed very difficult!

I would highly recommend this villa to anyone, large families or couples looking for a intimate break by the sea. We very much look forward to our next visit.

Premium villa with stunning seaside views.

A stunning villa with fantastic sea views well laid out clean and well maintained , pool is fabulous (even better when the pool lights were repaired)

An ideal location for families with a all major bars cafes and shops a short drive away.

I would highly recommend this villa one thing I would ask the owners to address as this is a premium villa with a price to match is just address some very minor details don't want to sound too picky but on arrival the wi if wasn't working and the pool lights didn't work but a quick call to the property management company and these were resolved but it would have been nice if these vey small things worked from the start.

Gorgeous house for October sun

The property was beautiful, spacious and very well equipped. It was very tastefully furnished, clean and well maintained. The pool was lovely and the sea front view stunning. We had many happy hours at the poolside chilling with our friends and enjoying the excellent local beer and food. There was a bar and mini golf within walking distance and driving was a dream as they drive on the same side as the UK. The locals are friendly and the surrounding restaurants and bars great. I would highly recommend a holiday here as even in October the weather was fab.

The house is in a spectacular location with great facilities.

Every thing worked well, l would love to have stayed longer, and look forward to visiting this villa again

Special interest holidays:

Alagadi Beach is east of Kyrenia where they have the turtle project. In July/August they arrange visits where you can help release baby turtles back in to the sea at night.

Spring and autumn are perfect for walking in the foothills, look out for the many species of indigenous wild orchids and as it's the prime migratory route for many birds a great opportunity to them in their natural habitat.

There are numerous scuba diving centres catering to all skill levels and with visibility of up to 30 meters and warm water all year round, it's a great place to explore.

There are 3 stunning Crusader castles in the mountains of North Cyprus and it is possible to paraglide from a spot 750m high, to the west of St Hilarion Castle.

Coast/Beach:

Villa Efessu is right on the Mediterranean shore. There is a small beach with snack bar within a 5 minute walk and there are numerous sandy beaches, many with water sports on offer including jet-skiing, within 10-15 minutes drive. Boat day-trips along the coast can be arranged in Kyrenia Harbour.

Travel:

We would strongly recommend having a hire car so you can enjoy the many wonderful sights North Cyprus has to offer.

Kyrenia/Girne Harbour: 20 mins approx

Ercan Airport (Lefkosa): 45 mins approx

Larnaca Airport: - 1.5 hrs approx

Distances:

Alsancak: 5 mins

Kyrenia/Girne: 15 mins approx

Lefkosa/Nicosia: 30 mins approx

The villa is close to three different supermarkets as well as independent shops and stalls. There's a beach bar 5 mins walk away and the nearest restaurant is less than 5 mins drive plus there are dozens of restaurants within a 10 min drive including: Cypriot, Indian, Chinese, Italian, French and European. ATMs can be found at most banks. Sterling and Euros are accepted at most supermarkets and many restaurants and shops. Petrol is quite cheap and there are a number of petrol stations on the main road. There are plenty of activities available such as para gliding, jet skiing, go-karting, horse riding and walking trails.

Villa Efessu is professionally managed and the company will ensure that everything is prepared to a high standard and are on call to give advice/help if required. All guests will receive a meet & greet and a welcome pack on arrival.
Gas/water included. Electric of up to 300 units per week.
A non refundable deposit of 20% will be requested on booking with the balance payable 8 weeks before your holiday. A security deposit of £400 is required (refunded upon inspection after guest departure).

Changeover Day:
There is no preferred changeover day. We would ask that the villa is vacated by 10am on the day of departure and that arrival time is after 2pm. If a later departure time is required then please let us know in advance and we will try to accommodate you.

Notes on accommodation: Due to marble floors throughout, high railings and an un-fenced pool, we suggest that this house may not be suitable for children under 8 years. We do not expect you to clean the house, however, we would ask that you leave it as you found it, i.e. clean oven, fridge and furniture restored to its original place. A cleaning team will arrive shortly after you leave but if the house is found in an unacceptable condition, a deduction may be taken from your deposit. Outside: There is a large terrace surrounding the 11 x 5.5m pool with loungers, chairs and parasols, plus a pergola with traditional Cypriot barbecue and seating for 8 or more. The terrace wraps around the house to a sea side terrace with steps leading down to the shore. The upper terrace encircles the house, providing superb views for 360 degrees, and shade whenever you may want it. Utility Room: There is a separate utility room with an 8kg washing machine, floor-standing clothes airer, iron and ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Guest's beds will be prepared and both bathroom and pool towels provided for each guest. Mid stay linen change and clean are available on request to the managing agents.
