There are a few suggestions and recommendations to the wide range of South Devon and local attractions. Please ask about the local South Devon attractions as over the years we have accumulated helpful suggestions from where to park and where the best fish & chips are to be found. South Devon is gaining an increased and well deserved reputation for local produce. A list of quality local suppliers is in the Guest Information Booklet. Some of our guests have taken advantage of deliveries offer by local suppliers such as Gribble’s Butchers in Ivybridge or veg from Riverford Organics, (the larger supermarkets also offer a delivery service). Morning papers can also be arranged from the Village & Post Office Shop in Wrangaton. A cot & high chair are available – we do ask guests to supply their own breeding for the cot. We do ask that your pets are excluded from bedrooms and should be well controlled at all times. Pets must never be left unattended. All fuel and bed linen are included. We ask if guests could bring their own towels. Towels can be supplied at a small charge if required. Wifi and mobile phone signals are available – as the cottages are in glorious Devon countryside wifi is slower than in the cities and mobile coverage does vary. We do ask that wifi is used for emails and browsing and not for downloading as that blocks other users. Your holiday cottage has been inspected and recommended by the local inspection scheme organised by the Dartmoor Tourism partnership Limited. We wish you an enjoyable stay in Badger Cottage and please let us know if there are ways we can contribute to your holiday in South Devon.
Ideal location for touring the South West, close to major roads but definitely rural location. We made a move to South Devon 18 years ago and have never regretted it. A part of the world that has stunningly beautiful coastline, iconic moorlands and a rich history stretching back 7000 years as witnessed by the long chambered tombs less than a mile from your Cottage.
Thanks for a lovely stay and the tip to walk around the coast at East Prawle.
