About Rosanna Ferrazzi
Pine Cottage has been in my family for 200 years and I was raised on a farm on Pencaer near Strumble Head. I'm Welsh and I lived and worked in Los Angeles for 35 years as a private chef and cooking teacher to Hollywood movie stars and film industry executives. I moved back to Pembrokeshire because I was homesick for my beautiful homeland. I'm an outgoing and friendly person and I will do anything reasonably possible to ensure that you have a lovely stay in my 'Petite Maison Rose' as one visitor called it. The kitchen is designed for families and food lovers to cook in easily. I teach cooking classes in local schools but if you would like a private class with me during your stay- I can create one especially for you. Just ask when booking.

We loved it !
Very welcoming and pretty
Great family cottage
Found this place last-minute to stay in whilst visiting family, and couldn't have been happier with the result! Really close to shops and seaside, easy to find, and all on one-level (which was great with the baby - no stairs to worry about!) Owner was extremely communicative and even laid on a few things for us on arrival - and we'd arrived late in the evening too, which wasn't a problem at all. All in all, a great place to stay and we're looking forward to booking again before too long.
Already "pining" for a return visit
We enjoyed our time at Pine Cottage immensely. The cottage was as advertised, comfortable, cosy and so well equipped, indeed it exceeded our expectations. The beds, bedding and towels were of the highest order. Margaret the owner, was an excellent host and even though not in the best of health, nothing was too much trouble to her. A perfect location to explore the various beaches and coves. Recommended a walk from Marine Drive over the headland into Lower Fishguard and also a trip to the reservoir at Llys-y-Fran a haven of peace in the Guan Valley.
Wales best kept secret and very dog friendly.
We have spent the past five nights in this wonderful well maintained, warm, welcoming and very clean cottage with our little dog. Situated in this historic part of Wales convenient to local amenities and being within easy reach of the water it is most sailor's dream. Close by there are impressive walks, beaches and breath-taking beauty. The owner is very dog friendly, has equipped her kitchen for foodies and we had local produce waiting for us on arrival. We were lucky on our cliff top walks we saw seals with their babies and picked sloes from the blackthorn. From the ferry turn right up to the dog friendly Hope & Anchor in Goodwick for nibbles. Also Number 14 the Chocolate Shop in Fishguard is a dog friendly tea shop.
This cottage suited us very well and we have no hesitation in recommending to our family and friends.
Sadly, I can't have a dog in my life at the moment, so I make do with welcoming my guests' pets instead !
Very pleasant accomodation.
The cottage is well furnished and clean with good kitchen facilities, comfy living room and very comfortable bed. It is all on one level and would suit guest/s with mobility problems. The owner is friendly and welcoming. It is a good location for travelling in the beautiful surrounding area. And is very dog friendly.
Happy to get such a lovely review and I am also happy to say that it is all as described ! I lived and worked in the catering industry in California for 36 years so good kitchens and good customer service are second nature...... We are very family-friendly too and it's an easy house for babies and children.
