Guestbook comments from the owner

Thank you for allowing us to stay at Treetop Lodge. We have felt very at home here, with everything we need for a lovely break.

The park is in a beautiful location, and everyone very friendly, especially the staff at the Haybarn Inn.

The weather has been mixed, but hasn't hampered our stay and we would love to make a return visit.

Many, many thanks again.

great lodge in nice holiday park.

  • 4 of 5

Just returned from stay here with my husband and 7 year old son. Lodge itself is great. Clean, spacious and has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Facilities in lodge were good. Good size living area with comfortable sofas and room for dining table without feeling cramped. Kitchen was modern with everything supplied for a self catering holiday. We were lucky to have a few nice days of lovely weather so the decking with tables and chairs were great to sit out and enjoy the sun. Jerilee was great from start of booking and made it very easy to book and pay for stay and provided us with all the information we'd need. The holiday park itself is very clean, quiet and friendly with some good facilities. The on site bar/restaurant was very good and a fantastic beer garden with amazing views. We enjoyed some great days out and Ambleside, Windermere and Bowness on Windermere only short car drive away. I would definitely recommend the lodge and hopefully we will return again in the future. Thanks to Jerilee for making it a nice hassle free booking allowing us to have a great hassle free holiday

Just a short break ( 3 nights), Beautiful site, a little bit hilly to be pushing a wheelchair about but not grumbling it goes with the area. Arrived on the Monday around 12.15 pm (we knew we couldn't get keys until 2.00pm) so thought we would grab a meal at the Haybarn the onsight pub, only to be told it didn't open till 2.00pm as well, so had to drive to a nearby pub to eat. 1st day cloudy, 2nd day rained all day long🙁3rd day cloudy start but the sun came out around 10 .30 ish & was fine the rest of the day. All in all would recommend this site and despite the rain managed to get around the Lakes and nearby villages. Enjoyed and will return.

Had a lovely relaxing time with my family

  • 5 of 5

We had the most relaxing time at Treetop Lodge. My mum, dad, husband and Labrador were with me. There is a tv, loads of DVDs and games to keep you entertained. The lodge was lovely and warm, clean and very homely. Everything you need is to hand. There is a dog area on site to let the pooch run off some energy before the day ahead. The pub was lovely. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The only downside was that it is at the top of a hill and my dad couldn't manage the walk there and back. I did consider taking him in the car but I couldn't see where I could park. However, I will ask next time. We enjoyed it so much we are returning in December for my birthday. Great communication from the owners, nothing is too much trouble for them. Can't wait to go back.
