Monday to Friday in this lovely lodge. The lodge is clean and comfortable and has all the amenities required and more. The park is great and the river and the dog area was great for our dog. Lovely, relaxing break, would recommend to friends and family and would come back again.

Had a lovely relaxing time with my family

  • 5 of 5

We had the most relaxing time at Treetop Lodge. My mum, dad, husband and Labrador were with me. There is a tv, loads of DVDs and games to keep you entertained. The lodge was lovely and warm, clean and very homely. Everything you need is to hand. There is a dog area on site to let the pooch run off some energy before the day ahead. The pub was lovely. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The only downside was that it is at the top of a hill and my dad couldn't manage the walk there and back. I did consider taking him in the car but I couldn't see where I could park. However, I will ask next time. We enjoyed it so much we are returning in December for my birthday. Great communication from the owners, nothing is too much trouble for them. Can't wait to go back.

Superb accommodation in the Lake District

  • 5 of 5

We only had a weekend here but would have loved to have stayed longer. The lodge is superb. Very comfortable and wonderfully equipped. We have stayed at lots of lots of self catering cottages and houses and this is certainly up there with the best. We had our dogs with us, so the dog field on the edge of the park was wonderful. Fully fenced and much larger than I expected. Even better are the walks up the fells behind the inn. Miles of winding paths. Ambleside and Windermere are a quick car journey away, but if you are looking for crowd free walks you are also in the right place. The only, very slight, down side is the close proximity of the other lodges, but that is probably because we have anti social dogs. "Normal" people and dogs would be fine and everyone on site was friendly. PS the beds and sofas were very comfortable, a huge plus from me as I have a dodgy back. Thank you for a super stay.

Amazing site and great accomodation

  • 5 of 5

Found this property on here after searching many other sites and managed to get a last minute booking.

Stayed this week with our two dogs and very very good price for three nights. There is a dog field on site so you can take them for their morning and evening exercise.

Just outside of Windermere on the Limefitt site so not to far away to use as a base for day trips out. The Lodge is really well equipped and clean.

Great comms from Jerilee and it was so easy to book, not like some that i previously contacted.

It was just like a home from home - thank you for letting us stay - i would recommend to anyone.

Introduction to Lake District to our French family

  • 4 of 5

Very impressed by Lodge. No photo shopping everything you see is what you get. Well equipped miniature kitchen which allows you to prepare a gourmet meal for a hungry family. Excellently positioned for visiting all the Lakes but also offers the choice for "lazy" days if you wish to stay "close to home" given the Pub/Restaurant at the top of the hill or a ramble to Ambleside over the hills. Highly recommended

Fantastic

  • 5 of 5

Found the property on owners direct, emailed the owners via the enquiry page and Jerliee got back to me nice and quick, confirming dates available and cost. Jerilee Confirmed via email and I paid by direct debit, next day confirmation of payment was received and day following that I got the booking confirmation. I did phone Jerilee to confirm costs etc and check I could pay by direct debit.

On arrival the check in process was nice and easy, got to the property and everything was as per the description and photos, our stay was fantastic, the onsite pub was great as it had pool table and games for the kids, good local ales and the food was ok.

I would stay again and we send a big thanks to John and Jerilee. Hope to visit again sometime.
