It was all that it promised in description on website
All was prepared and ready as promised. Tranquil peaceful and well resourced. Beware path to front door which 'leans over' to one side as you walk up the slope. Not the easiest for infirm or sight impaired.
Great place in the countryside!
Had a lovely few days at Garlands Retreat over the Easter weekend.
The house is very clean, in good modern condition, comfortable and very well equipped. There is a pretty big garden, which is fully fenced and gated, so ideal for dogs if you have one. It's located in some lovely countryside, which is very peaceful but only about 10 minutes drive into Walmer/Deal.
The owner was very nice, helpful and responsive when we contacted her.
We visit family in Kent a couple of times a year and so have stayed in lots of holiday lets in the area and Garlands Retreat is definitely one of the nicest and I'm sure we will be back.
Thanks a lot.
A very good stay!
A few days spent in Kent's region, this cottage was very calm and well equipped with many stuffs to your disposal!
Not far away Dover's White Cliffs and Castle, very practical if you have a very young child with you!
