We live in the UK and have 2 teenage daughters. My husbands family are originally from Bari and he enjoyed many family holidays there when he was growing up. When we were first married we enjoyed vacations in Italy but once the girls were born decided to buy a place ourselves. We lived here for a couple of years, the girls went to school in Martina Franca and now speak Italian fluently. We enjoy travelling, cooking and eating out but love swimming, walking and running too! When we lived here we grew our own artichokes, fennel, tomatoes and salads - the herb garden is still thriving. I welcome enquiries and enjoy speaking to guests and helping them plan their vacation.
Why Tracy chose Ostuni
Our Trullo has beautiful panoramic views and is in a great location, quiet and off the beaten track. However, we are just a few minutes drive from Martina Franca, Cisternino, Ceglia Messapica and Locorotondo - three of these lovely hill towns we can see from our house! Ostuni and Alberobello aren't too far either. We have lots of comments from guests at how homely and comfortable it is. We enjoy sharing our favourite places to visit and our latest restaurant finds. We love it here and want our guests to love it too!

Trullo Tramonto is a delightful spot for enjoying all things Puglian. Fab pool, lovely views, very peaceful and thoughtfully equipped with all one could need. Great outdoor space and well located for very good mini market/restaurants close by. Sarah was on hand to meet and greet and a pleasure to deal with. Altogether marvellous. Thanks Tracy.
Thank you for your lovely review. It's our home so we have everything there for our guests to use too. We enjoy sharing our favourite places to visit and there are some fab restaurants too. Happy you had a great time. Sarah is wonderful isn't she! We look forward to welcoming you back again.
Beautiful Trullo with gorgeous sunsets
We had an amazing 2 week holiday at this beautiful trullo. The outside living areas were wonderful. The pool is lovely although it is very deep with no shallow end. That said my 5 year old daughter can now swim!
The view is lovely and sunsets spectacular. The quiet location ensures a totally peaceful and relaxing holiday.
So pleased you had a wonderful holiday. The pool is amazing and although deep has the lovely beach area for paddling and lazing around on the rocks. Happy your daughter learnt to swim in our pool - she's not the first! We look forward to welcoming you back again. Thank you again for the review.
Perfect family holiday
Trulli stunning in every way! Beautiful spot to explore the area. We loved the local wine bar and restaurant. Trip to Ionian Sea was amazing - crystal clear water and white sand. Alborello is a must as is Ostuni, Tracy and Sarah we’re very helpful before and during our stay, nothing too much trouble.
Would highly recommend!
What a beautiful place! We relaxed as soon as we arrived enjoying the stunning pool and the wonderful views. The house is beautifully presented and well equipped, lovely outdoor eating area, with only provisions needed from the wonderful local store. We didn’t want to leave! Thank you Tracy & to Sarah for her advice and helpfulness.
Cozy, practical trullo and yet so beautiful
We have just returned home after spending a week in this trullo, we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If you prefer to stay away from all the tourists, this is the place to go. Lots of things to see in 30-45 min. distance - Alberobello, Polignano a Mare (boat ride is a must), Grotte di Castellana, Locorotondo. The food is superb - fresh fish from Pescheria in Cisternino, meat from local macellerias, its so easy to cook with great ingredients. We loved sitting in the little lounge area by the pool watching sunsets drinking great wine, we will definitely miss it!
We had a wonderful week, fabulous views, location, accommodation and facilities. I can't rate highly enough and would thoroughly recommend.
That's great to hear - thank you for your review. We never tire of those views and always enjoy a g&t as the sun sets! We look forward to welcoming you back again.
With panoramic views of Martina Franca, Locorotondo & Cisternino, the trullo is set amongst olive and almond groves alongside the Itria Valley in Puglia, a World Heritage site.
The popular hill towns of Ostuni, Martina Franca, Cisternino & Ceglie Messapica are all within a short drive away and are full of wonderful restaurants, bars & shops including locally produced ceramics, baskets and jewellery. The “Florence of the South”, Lecce is just 1 hours drive offering stunning Baroque architecture.
Beaches on the Adriatic coast (both sandy or rocky) are less than half an hour drive, whilst the stunning sandy Ionian coast is just a little further towards the south.
Known as the “garden of Italy” Puglia is renowned for it's local produce supplying the rest of Italy with fruit & vegetables. Local meat from the countryside & fish on the coast is highly regarded not forgetting the rich red wines of Salento & Manduria and crisp white wines from Locorotondo.
Golf: There are 2 golf courses in the area; San Domenico Golf Course and Coccaro Golf Club close to the pretty fishing village of Savelletri, on the Adriatic coast.
