Tastefully decorated and furnished throughout, the cottage features a warm and cosy sitting room with dining area, a well-equipped kitchen and a spacious main bedroom with wonderful views of Beamsley Beacon. The village centre is just a 5 minute walk from the cottage, offering a good range of pubs (including one serving gourmet food), other eateries and a wealth of historic buildings. There's also a lovely golf course. Nearby towns worth a visit include Skipton, Ilkley and historic Bolton Abbey, while glorious Malham and Grassington offer beautiful, limestone scenery a short drive away. This superb Addingham cottage is a great base for a romantic break and for discovering all that the Yorkshire Dales has to offer.

A perfect cottage for two people. The bed is exceptionally comfortable. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We have been taking cottage holidays in England for many years and this one is really among the very best.

The property was comfortable and welcoming, and felt home from home. The house in Addingham was very convenient for visiting towns like Ilkley, Skipton, Harrogate and the Yorkshire Dales, and was also near major road routes and motorways and very accessible. The house was near the centre of the village so quite accessible to local facilities.

There is only one word to describe Beamsley View, SUPERB! Everything you could possibly want, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. A home from home. We have hired many places over the years in the UK and abroad this was undoubtedly the best by a long way.

Facilities include: Full gas central heating (all fuel included in price). Off road private parking for one car. Free Wireless Internet connection. Bedlinen and towels provided. Patio with garden furniture, shared garden area (with owners). Hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Very well equipped kitchen. Sorry no pets, and no smoking in the cottage. Outside: Delightful patio area with garden seat and furniture with view over shared garden (with owners). Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen (duvet) and towels included. Changed weekly during longer lettings. All fuel and power included in rent.

Clean.cosy and very comfortable.

Clean and exceptionally tidy throughout.

Vivian is so kind and helpful.

We are experienced walkers so simply walked from base everyday, there are numerous walks of a variety of terrain and distances and one simply can use public transport to return.We called in the local Addingham Social Club which belies its title, it has been recently refurbished to a high standard and is very stylish indeed.

The beer is excellent and at a reasonable rate and the locals were very friendly indeed.

The weather was glorious so on returning mid afternoon from our walks we sat outside in the beautiful garden, it really catches the sun until late evening, it was bliss.

We had a great time so thank you Vivian/ Andrew.

Superb Cottage, excellent location.

A friendly welcome to a cosy cottage which is very well kitted out. Quality bedding, such a treat, plenty of clean, good kitchen and bathroom wares. I was warm and very comfortable.

I highly recommend this property for couples venturing to the Yorkshire Dales.

Fantastic cottage in a great location to explore the dales

Spotlessly clean and well. equipped cottage with everything you could possibly need. The owners were very friendly, accommodating and very helpful. Excellent base to explore the many beautiful places the Yorkshire Dales has to offer. Would definitely recommend and hope to return ourselves as our weekend stay was just not long enough.

Leeds/Bradford Airport is approx. half an hour away by car.

Distances:

Beamsley View is approx. 5 min. walk to the main street of Addingham where you can find a choice of 4 pubs all serving food. Addingham also has a mini supermarket along with other local shops.

Other nearby places to visit are Skipton 4 miles, Bolton Abbey 3 miles and Ilkley 3 miles. The Yorkshire Dales National Park is close by.

The historic village of Addingham nestles in the valley of the River Wharfe between Ilkley and Skipton, just 3 miles from the Dales National Park at Bolton Abbey.Today's village is a thriving, small community with several good pubs serving fine ales and excellent food, a scattering of small shops and a delightful golf course surrounded by breathtaking countryside. Nearby Bolton Abbey is one of the region's most scenic areas and the walk along the river to the 'Strid' is a must. The Victorian Spa town of Ilkley is worth a visit, with its wide streets, world famous Box Tree Restaurant and Bettys Tea Rooms, while Ilkley Moor is the subject of Yorkshire's unofficial anthem “On Ilkla Moor Baht at”. Skipton is also close by with its ancient castle, beautiful old parish church, colourful street market, canal trips and Embsay Steam Railway.
