This cottage is superb. It's in a beautiful setting and is a home away from home.
The Granary is a truly stunning place to stay. The cottage is lovely inside, very spacious and clean with everything you need for your stay. The setting is gorgeous too and makes you feel like your in the middle of the countryside yet your so close to so many places. The owners are lovely too and even leave a homemade cake for you. I cant recommend this cottage enough.

Gorgeous cottage in stunning grounds
Stayed here with a few friends over New Years. The cottage is really gorgeous, spacious with great furniture and wonderfully decorated for Christmas. We were planning on doing a good bit of cooking over the holiday so we were delighted to find the kitchen so well equipped. The grounds are really beautiful and I would be more than happy to stay here again. We all had a fabulous time, I'd really recommend this property to anyone. Thanks to Steve and Carol for being so helpful and getting everything ready so beautifully for us.

Newstead Abbey Park has a rich history, best known as the ancestral home of the British romantic poet the 6th Lord Byron (1788 - 1824) Described by Lady Caroline Lamb as "mad, bad and dangerous to know".
Originally a monastic house founded by Henry II in about 1163 as an Augustine priory. Allegedly haunted by probably the most famous ghosts in England, The White Lady, and by the malevolent Goblin Monk since the reign of Henry VIII.
