Apartment in Panoramica Golf, Vinaros, Costa del Azahar / Valencia, Spain - Peaceful & Quiet Surroundings, But Only 20mins To The Beach And Nightlife Of Vinaros

The apartment is located on the 9th Fairway of the Bernard Langer Championship course. The balcony provides a perfect view of holes 9 and 10 and you are also able to see if there is a queue on the first! The view from the front is of endless olive groves with a wonderful mountain back-drop. On-street parking is available outside of the apartment which is equipped with all modern amenities to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay. The shared pools are often empty outside of the summer break but even during this time, you will find the local residents welcoming and friendly as they socialise before vacating the area for a siesta, the time the sun is hottest and the pool most welcoming. There are currently 4 restaurants/bars on the complex, one at the Golf Clubhouse and 2 at the nearby commercial centre and a fourth at the par 3 pitch and put course. The local Spanish towns have plenty of places to eat in a very local atmosphere and with Vinaros only 15 minutes drive away, there are plenty of places to eat drink and be merry.

About Peter Middleton

Peter and Sarah purchased this apartment having never considered owning a property in Spain before. The tranquillity, fantastic golf course, wonderful views and very Spanish nature of the area meant that we returned regularly and instead of renting it out, kept it for our own use.

Our love of the area, climate and proximity to the UK has led us to purchase a house on the same golf course and so now we are offering others the opportunity to experience the 'Azahar' life by renting out the apartment.

Why Peter Middleton chose San Jorge

With mountains to one side and the coast to the other, there are very few places that offer such a quick transition from beautiful mountain lakes and scenery to golden sand beaches.

The golf Course setting offers peace and tranquillity, clear starlit skies in the night and warm daytime sunshine most of the year around.

It took us about half an hour to decide that this was were we wanted to spend long weekends and summer breaks and we are lucky that we have been able to take great advantage of the short travel times and cheap airlines to do this over the years.

What makes this apartment unique

The property is located 5 minutes from the main AP-7 coastal motorway following the Spanish Mediterranean Coast but is half an hours drive from spectacular mountain ranges and 15 mins from some of the finest beaches you could find.

The balcony has fantastic views across the golf course in the day and is a great platform for some of the most starry skies you will see in the night time.

Being on the 9th fairway, the apartment is a couple of minutes walk from the superb clubhouse with fantastic practise facilities, a 3 hole practise course and the Bernard Langer designed 18 hole Golf Course.

Easy to get to, relaxing to be at, Panoramica Golf Club is a real jewel of a location.

Notes on accommodation: The apartment is fully air conditioned in both bedrooms and the lounge. The design of the apartment is such that it is cool enough, however there may be occasions that the air conditioning adds a little comfort. We would ask that if the air conditioning is used that all external doors are kept shut. Outside: There are two shared pools associated with the apartment one of which is very close. The pools are for the convenience of all residents in the blocks. The pools are situated in manicured lawn areas where you can play ball sports or simply lie and relax. Utility Room: The utility room behind the kitchen includes a washing machine and additional storage space for food and pots & pans etc. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The property will be fully cleaned before each letting with towels and linen provided. For those staying more than one week there is an option to have additional cleaning/washing facilities for a small extra charge. Other: There is also a dining area with a round table and 4 chairs for those who don't like eating al fresco.

So Relaxing and Peaceful

We've stayed at this apartment a few times and cannot recommend it highly enough. We flew into Valencia and it is an easy 1 1/4 hour drive on the motorway from the airport to the apartment. The apartment is bright, very clean and very comfortable and feels like a home from home with more than enough space for 4 people to share. The kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of storage and a dishwasher and washing machine which for me are a must. The best thing about this property is the fantastic views from the balcony. The view of the golf course is stunning and you can sit for hours just enjoying the peace and quiet whilst sipping a vino. There is plenty of space on the balcony for a couple of sunbeds (which were supplied) and it gets the sun from early morning until late afternoon. The communal pool is very quiet and actually feels like your own pool as we only saw 2 other people using it during our time there. We went to the bar/restaurant on the complex which was lovely and friendly and they serve great pizzas as well as Spanish food. The par 3 was great for breakfast. Vinaros and the beach are only 20 minutes away and there are some great and cheap places for lunch / dinner with lovely seafood and paella. The town still retains a very Spanish feel which we liked. We tended to have lunch out ( a fantastic Menu Del Dia inc. wine for approx €15 each) and enjoy sitting on the balcony in the evening. The owners were staying out there when we visited and couldn't have been more helpful recommending restaurants and places to visit nearby. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday with peace and tranquility then this is the place for you. We will definitely be going back!!

The local town of Vinaros has long stretches of golden sand with play areas, sheltered water, bars and restaurants. The town is 15 mins drive from Panoramica. The Ebro Delta is a 30 minute drive providing nature lovers with a protected area including significant wildlife. Further south are the towns of Benicarlo and Pensicola, the latter of which was made famous by the use of the castle in the filming of the movie El Cid.

Vinaros is a lively town with festivals and activities all year round


Panoramica is close to 4 international airports, Castellon (45 minutes drive)Bareclona (2 hours drive), Reus (1 hours drive) and Valencia (1.5 hours drive). All four are served by low cost airlines from the UK.

Panoramica is not served by local transport facilities and whilst taxi services are available, a hire care is recommended for those wishing to leave the complex and explore the beautiful surroundings away from the golf course.


Vinaros town is 15km, approx. 10 minutes drive from Panoramica. The local town, Sant Jordi is a 10 minute drive and features bull running, the tomato festival and other celebrations throughout the year. The reservoir in the mountains north of La Senia is swimmable, has picnic areas and is around a 30 minute drive. other towns with restaurants and festivals include Ulldecona, Sant Rafel del Riu. The fantastic beaches and restaurants at Peniscola are 30 minutes drive.

Further Details:

There is a small supermarket on the golf complex with seasonal opening times whilst other provisions will need to be obtained from the local towns, ie Sant Jordi or Ulldecona or from the supermarkets in and around Vinaros which includes a large Carrefour, Lidl and Simply.

There is a sports centre on the site with football and basketball pitches, a par 3 pitch and put course, tennis and padel courts.

In nearby Ulldecona, there is a sports centre with a gym and indoor swimming pool (swimming hats are compulsory). The mountains to the north of Panoramica are ideal for hiking, road biking and scenic drives.

On arrival you will be met by one of our representatives who will show you around the apartment, point out the amenities and facilities and take a cash deposit of €100 to cover breakages or repairs. This cash deposit will be refunded once the representative confirms that the apartment has been left in a good condition.

Changeover Day:
Changeover dates are flexible. We would ask you to vacate the apartment by 12:00 on departure dates and the apartment will normally be available from 15:00 for arrivals. These timings are only effective where departure and arrival dates coincide.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
