About Deborah Helps

We live only an hour away from the North Cornwall Coast and were really excited to be able to purchase the cottage for our family to use as a second home.

Our children love the Cornish beaches and are keen surfers so this peaceful, safe cottage is perfect for us all.

Deborah Helps purchased this cottage in 2014

Why Deborah Helps chose North Cornwall

We wanted to buy a property near to the surfing beaches for our children, whilst satisfying the rest of the family with fabulous coastal walks, restaurants and some peace and tranquillity. Whist we are a stones throw from Padstow, Rock, Polzeath and surrounding attractions, the property is set in a quiet, safe rural setting, away from hustle and bustle. There is plenty of space for the children to play, woods to explore and a sunny aspect to enjoy.

What makes this cottage unique

We have just finished refurbishing the property. We have installed a new well equipped kitchen and bathroom, redecorated throughout and furnished from new. All beds and appliances are brand new. Free Wi Fi is provided.

Guestbook comments from the owner

The cottage suited us perfectly, it had everything you need plus very clean, modern and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail is very professional from lovely filter coffee to a well stocked accessory store full of beach toys. The location is great for many places we visit, boat across to Padstow from Rock, Wadebridge for groceries or Polzeath beach, all with 10 minutes away. In 6 years of coming to Cornwall this cottage is by far the best, made all the more stress free as the owner is amazing. We will be back!

8 Treglyn Farm Cottages

A gem of a place near Rock in North Cornwall and a fantastic base to explore everything that this beautiful part of the country has to offer. This was our first visit to Cornwall and we would thoroughly recommend it. The house is tastefully decorated and all done to a very high spec which adds to the pleasure of the holiday. Debs (the owner) is very attentive (in a good way) to making sure you are settled and everything is ok. The welcome pack which is left is spot on - tea, coffee, cakes, scones, clotted cream etc.!!! And, for us, after our long journey, was just perfect.

We would definitely recommend this cottage for your holiday in North Cornwall.

Excellent

  • 5 of 5

Have just returned from a lovely week exploring the area. A 5 minute drive from Rock and Polzeath.

We found the cottage to be extremely comfortable, very well equipped and thoughtfully decorated.

The contact with the owner, Debs, was very good, from the first enquiry to her thoughtfully checking that everything was satisfactory once we had arrived. Very impressed to be provided with cornish tea when we arrived - a welcome surprise.

Would definitely recommend this cottage and would love to visit again.

Excellent, clean, well equipped cottage in a great location

  • 5 of 5

The cottage has a single living space at ground floor level but this proved not to be an issue for our family of four and Treglyn was a great base for our week's stay in North Cornwall. Location is very good being just a few miles from Polzeath, Rock and Port Isaac. The cottage is tastefully presented and very well equipped and the provision of outdoor/beach items is a bonus. Communication from the owner regarding our booking from start to finish was exceptional. All-in-all an excellent property. Would we book again at this property? Certainly; without hesitation!

Great comfy cottage, extremely well equipped and in a great location to explore North Cornwall

  • 5 of 5

The property is ideally situated to explore North Cornwall and is only 5 mins drive from the beaches at Polzeath and Daymer Bay.

The property itself is extremely homely and comfy and having spent two weeks there with indifferent weather it is brilliantly equipped with everything you could need both inside and out (we needn't have packed so much!).

The cottage is perfect for families with a large safe outdoor space surrounding the property.

The owner, Debs communication was excellent from the minute we made the initial enquiry, through to 'joining' instructions and asking if everything was ok once we arrived. There even a welcoming pack when we got there.

Would differently recommend this property and would not hesitate to stay here again when holidaying in Cornwall.

Lovely

  • 5 of 5

Clean, tidy and very well appointed. The wifi & welcome pack is much appreciated. Whilst we have never required the use of the log burner, I can imagine it is a great facility to have. We often sit in the garden on a sunny day & enjoy the private seating area. We love how quiet & secluded it is, you will often go a whole week without seeing a neighbour. This place is a winner!
