Bramble and Tanglewood Barns are located three quarters of a mile west of Winfrith Newburgh down a 250 yard, private track, off the Dorchester/Wareham road. The owner's house and two other properties are 25 & 50 yards away respectively. This large splendid brick barn has been converted into two identical properties (Bramble Barn and Tanglewood Barn),creating accommodation of the highest standard throughout. Each barn has its own sheltered south facing terrace, ideal for eating out, and the remaining shared garden is laid to lawn with paved paths, flowers and shrubs. About Nicky Busst

My husband and I bought West Fossil Barn and its outbuildings in 1992 and set about converting the derelict barns into a home and holiday lets. We eventually completed Bramble and it's sister Tanglewood in 2007, since when they have been available for holiday rental.

We now live in West Fossil Barn with our daughters, two dogs, a cat and also have three horses in our paddock to the front of Bramble and Tanglewood.

We found some derelict barns for sale and thought the opportunity of converting them into a home was too good to miss.

We are delighted with the results and so glad we took on the project.

The Barns are in a rural setting but local shops are only a mile away; walking distance if you're feeling energetic.

Arne Nature Reserve and Studland are within 7 and 12 miles respectively.

There are two pubs in Wool (The Black Bear and The Ship Inn), and pub/restaurants at East Knighton (The Countryman), Winfrith (The Red Lion) and East Chaldon (The Sailors Return). Moreton Tea Rooms are within 3 miles close to Lawrence of Arabia's final resting place and his cottage.

Many National Trust properties are within easy driving distance.

Deposit 40% (non-refundable). Balance to be paid 8 weeks before holiday start date. Full payment to be made if booking less than 8 weeks before start date. Weekly lets run Saturday to Saturday. Minimum 3 night short breaks (please enquire for price). Payment to be made by Bank Transfer.
You are advised to take out travel insurance to safeguard yourself against unforeseen circumstances. i.e. illness/cancellation of holiday etc.

Changeover Day:
Changeover Day is Saturday. Departure by 10:00. Arrival after 15:00.

Notes on prices:
Short breaks are welcomed at this property all year round* (minimum stay is 3 Nights).

A Short Break is charged 2/3 of the full week's rent for 3 nights; extra nights are 10% of the full weeks rent. Mon - Fri breaks are offered at 4 nights for the price of 3.

*A short break during peak times may only be booked within 2 weeks of the required dates. Peak times are: June to September, October and end of May half terms, Christmas, New Year and Easter.
