Apartment in Peyia, Coral Bay, Paphos - Peaceful location, great pool and just a 5 minute drive to Coral Bay beach
About Karen Richardson
Hi, my name is Karen and I live in Kent with my partner Martin. We love Cyprus with the year round good weather, friendly people and the fact that you can do as much or as little as you like while you are there.
Karen Richardson purchased this Apartment in 2009
Why Karen Richardson chose Peyia
I purchased this property as I love Cyprus, it is a country that I feel very at home in. I adore the location as the village of Peyia is quite peaceful and you have bars, shops & restaurants all within walking distance yet 5 minutes drive away you have the beautiful Coral Bay beach and the plaza with a wider selection of restaurants, bars and nightlife. Paphos is close too with it's beautiful harbour and for those who love music I can recommend the Paphos festival when they turn the Fort into the backdrop for an open air opera - this was amazing!
What makes this Apartment unique
The reason I picked this particular apartment was because of the space it offers and the fact that the bathroom is independent of the bedroom making it easy to access if you are using the sofa bed. Being on the second floor and accessed by a lift or stairs the views are amazing and the large balcony is the perfect place to sit and recharge your batteries! The apartment has been well equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday.
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
Simple, clean, cost and satisfying
Home from Home
The process was easy from start to finish and Karen got back to all messages quickly and was so helpful. The property is in a lovely location and the complex was very quiet with access to a lovely pool. The apartment has everything you need - the only thing missing was a frying pan ! We will definitely be back.
Very nice spacious flat
The photos and description were accurate. It is a really nice spacious flat, in a nice quiet complex with a great outdoor pool. It had all the amenities we needed for our stay and pool towels a really nice bonus . My son used the sofa bed, the mattress is a bit thin, so whilst okay for a child, I don't think it would be very comfortable for adults. We had a great stay and would be more than happy to return again.
Although apartment was as described very comfortable but a car is essential to get about because of the hill climb to the village and the distant to the beach.
Thank you for your feedback Hazel. We're glad that you had a lovely time and look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

Nice apartment and location
We like staying in Peyia and the apartment was located in a great spot as you can walk to places to eat, the local shop and great bakery and if feeling fit you can walk to the top of town too, which have good places to eat and drink.
Unfortunately we did not realise how cold the apartment would be in January, although we new what the weather was going to be like, very wet and rainy including hail and thunder storms and it was still warmer outside than in and not helped by the fact the the heating did not work in the lounge, which was just unfortunate and could have happened anywhere. This was remedied eventually once the company that look after the property actually believed us that it was not working.
I don't think this is unusual for properties in Cyprus being very cold in January, due to the way they are built so I am assuming this would be the same for most other apartments around Cyprus at the same time of year.
The Pool area looked nice and I think a great place to stay in warmer months.
Karen the owner gave very good information for the apartment prior to our stay.
Thank you for your feedback, it is always very valuable to help us improve both our apartment and service to our guests. Having spoken to my agents they do apologise for any delay in resolving the issue but they do deal with a number of queries with the AC/ Heating units in all apartments where the temperature has been set incorrectly. I hope the heating hiccup didn't deter you from enjoying your holiday and I hope to welcome you back in the future.
The apartment was lovely and spacious. It had everything that you needed. The only downfall was the indoor pool was not heated so we couldn’t take the kids swimming when we stayed in November. Karen, the owner, was really helpful and responded quickly to emails. I would recommend staying in her apartment.
Thank you for your feedback, it is always valuable to us in order that we can continue to improve the apartment and our service to our guests. I will contact the management company as my understanding is that the indoor pool would be heated. I can only apologise and hope that this didn't deter you from enjoying your holiday and I hope to welcome you back in the future.
The stunning sandy beach of Coral Bay is 3 miles away, approximately a few minutes drive. You can find water sports there as well a café/ bar. Paphos is just a 20 minute drive where you can find the superb harbour, fort and archaeological sites to explore. For those of you who are more adventurous the unspoilt Akamas Peninsula can be explored by quad bikes or a 4x4 which can be hired locally. Other places to visit would include the Troodos Mountains, there are some lovely villages on your trip up there as well as monasteries and various vineyards. If you fancy going further afield why not venture over to Nicosia, Ayia Naya, Larnaca or Limassol. Not far from Ayia Napa is Dherynia where you can view the ghost town of Famagusta, 40,000 people fled the town after the Turkish invasion in 1974. Closer to Paphos I would recommend visiting Pissouri, it has a beautiful beach and the hill top village is still very traditional. Latchi is a place we love to go for lunch. It has a lovely marina and is the ideal place to get a boat out to the Blue Lagoon. Alternative ways to reach the lagoon are to hire a quad bike, get the jeep safari or if you feel up to it you can walk! This is a fantastic location for year round holidays!
Adjacent to this is the "Sea Caves" area which is a rocky peninsula that is great for snorkelling or scuba diving.
Paphos is the nearest airport and is approximately a 30 minute drive to the apartment. There is so much to see we would recommend that you hire a car. However, if you have decided not to hire a car we can arranged for you to be picked up at the airport for a small fee. There is a bus service through Peyia which you can use to get to both Coral Bay and Paphos.
