The granite barn has been recently converted and extended from an almost derelict outbuilding to a high standard of self catering accommodation and stands within the grounds of our 8 acre campsite.
The campsite itself is popular during the summer holidays, however The Barn is not affected by this and remains a very peaceful place to enjoy and relax and during the months of May, June, early July & September you can enjoy almost complete peace and quiet and take advantage of the space.
The Barn faces south looking across farmland to the Atlantic Ocean which you can see from the bedroom on the first floor.
The private garden surrounds the property and at the rear there is a superb decking area where you can relax, BBQ and indulge in the amazing sunsets over the Penwith Peninsula and the wonderful views of Tregonning Hill.
We are a family of three generations living and working on our smallholding campsite in West Cornwall, we enjoy the outdoors and spend much time gardening, continually landscaping and maintaining the site for all our guests to enjoy.

Our family moved to Cornwall in 2010 for a lifestyle change. We live in the most stunning surroundings and are very proud to be able to offer self catering holidays in our Barn to enable others to enjoy this wonderful place.
The Barn is situated on our campsite which unusually
enables families of mixed generations to enjoy a holiday together. We often have grandparents staying in our Barn whilst their children and grandchildren camp.
We have an on-site shop, open during the Summer holidays selling locally produced meat, bread, eggs and milk, beach goods and general supplies.
We rented the barn for a family reunion/birthday party and had an amazing time with our big group (incl. lots of children!). Some of us were staying in tents/camping vans next to this gorgeous granite barn- Everything was perfect!
We found all what we needed in the fully equipped cottage and enjoyed the terrace and BBQ watching beautiful Cornish sun sets! THANK YOU- Hoping to be back one day soon.
Barn had everything we needed. Very comfortable and homely. Helston was great base for exploring Cornwall.
We loved our stay in this barn a lot. It's furnished and decorated with great love to detail.
Everything for your daily need is present. There is a modern and fully equiped kitchen, own washing machine and tumbler included. Even a BBQ grill is available.
The location ist absolutely peaceful and quiet inbetween meadows and fields and rabbits are hopping around the campground.
There are so many picturesque locations and places of interest in short distance (by car).
We had a great time and would have liked to stay for longer.
We are approx 1.5 miles from Praa Sands beach, it is approx half an hours walking or 5 mins drive, there are several large car parks.
Rinsey beach is also close by, there are no amenities here.
Newquay airport is approx 30 miles away, Penzance station is approx 8 miles
Ashton Village is 1/2 mile away, Praa Sands 1.5 miles.
Porthleven fishing village approx 2 miles, Helston 4 miles.
Lizard Peninsula, is 4-5 miles, where you will find Cadgwith Cove, Coverack, Helford Village & River. Falmouth is approx 12 miles away.
Marazion & St Michaels Mount 6 miles. Penzance 8 miles. Further on you will find Newlyn, Mousehole and Porthcurno and the Minack Theatre.
St Ives is approx 12 miles and Lands End 20 miles
There are many local shops in Porthleven and Helston, local independent traders as well as larger supermarkets on the outskirts of Helston.
A fine selection of restaurants and pubs in the area offering excellent locally produced food, particularly seafood, and many local ales and good vino.
There are surf schools at Praa Sands and cycle hire is available in Porthleven.
The beaches nearby are Praa Sands, Porthleven, Prussia Cove, Perranuthnoe.
Nearby is Godolphin House and Estate.
