Luxury Lodge situated in a woodland setting on 5* Finlake Holiday Park, Nr Newton Abbot, South Devon

Our lodge is set in 130 acres of spectacular Devonshire countryside on Finlake Holiday Park. It is on the edge of Dartmoor and 20 minutes, by car, to the nearest beach. The lodge is in a quiet area of the park but within a short walk of the main facilities. It is a double width lodge with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. It has its own private hot tub, decking area and car parking space. As soon as you arrive, it is so easy to relax and unwind in this tranquil setting, whether its soaking up the atmosphere on the south facing decking or chilling out in the hot tub. For those requiring a relaxing holiday there are nature trails to stroll around or horse riding through the grounds. You can let yourself be pampered in the Finesse Beauty Salon or indulge in the other treatments on offer. You can spend your day fishing, playing tennis or on the 9 hole golf course. For those who prefer a more active holiday, there is a fully equipped gym, sauna and steam room as well as an indoor and outdoor pool with flume. If you have children with you, Finlake offer a daily 'Go Active' Programme for a small charge. This includes archery, football, fencing, waterwalkerz, football and canoeing to name but a few. After a day on the park, or at the beach, why not relax in the Retreat Bar and Restaurant. Alternatively have a family BBQ at the lodge and relax in the hot tub under the stars.

Our lodge is our 2nd home. We fell in love with the park itself and the area. The minute we turn into the driveway at Finlake we begin to unwind and leave the stresses of a busy working life behind. The children are excited to see their friends and they love the activities on offer. All of us are always sad to leave and cannot wait to come back again. I hope you enjoy our lodge as much as we do.

lovely stay

We had a lovely stay in this wonderful lodge. Set a nice quiet area of the site but only 5 minute walk to the swimming pool/restaurant Everything that you would need is there we made great use of the hot tub and had a meal in the on site restaurant would we stay again yes definitely!

Our luxury lodge with its own private hot tub is set in 130 acres of beautiful countryside on Finlake Holiday Park. Finlake is a 5 star rated holiday park with facilities to cater for the whole family. It has numerous leisure activities and a newly refurbished bar and restaurant serving excellent food. On site, there is an indoor pool, comprehensive gym, sauna, steam room, massage and beauty treatment centre, outdoor heated pool with big flume slide, horse riding, tree top adventure facility, challenging 9 hole golf course, 2 tennis courts, children’s play area, archery, table tennis and a large well stocked fishing lake (license required). The site offers a daily programme of various activities for children which include football, archery, WaterWalkerz, fencing to name a few. The on site shop sells fresh local produce as well the essential produce you may need when you arrive such as milk, cereals, coffee etc.


A 20 minutes drive to the nearest beach which is either Teignmouth or Shaldon. Blackpool Sands, Torquay, Dartmouth, Goodrington Sands and Brixham are within easy reach by car.

Nearest Shops:

BY CAR: We are 5 minutes from Chudleigh which has a Co-op, Fish and Chip shop, Chinese take-away as well as numerous pubs. We are 10 minutes from Newton Abbott and Exeter. Trago Mills is 15 minutes and offers a unique shopping experience for the whole family including a small family fun park. Plymouth is 50 minutes away.

Local Attractions:

Dartmoor is on our door step and is 10 minutes by car. Other nearby attractions for a family day out, within a 45 minute drive, include Becky Falls, Canonteign Falls, Crealy Family Theme Park and Quaywest Water Park.
