The house has been renovated to a high standard to provide a comfortable, secluded base from which to explore Skye. Relax by the stream which runs through the garden or enjoy the views of the mountains. The house has its own private access and ample off-road parking. No pets allowed.

Notes on accommodation: Sorry but we do not take pets Outside: The property has its own secluded garden with a small stream and natural pond with wild flowers growing. It has an outside seating area. Utility Room: Washing machine. There is an outside drying area. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels are included. Beds will be made on arrival. Linen is changed weekly. Cleaning takes place before and after each rental.

The shores of Loch Snisort are a short walk away (10 minutes). Enjoy a wide variety of bird life and keep an eye out for seals and otters.

Travel:

The crofting village of Bernisdale is in central Skye and is an hour's drive from the Skye Bridge and forty minutes away from the Uig Ferry where you can enjoy day trips to the Western Isles.

Distances:

Taigh Iain Mhoir is ideally situated, being only 7 miles away from Portree, the capital of the island, which boasts quality restaurants, interesting shops a busy harbour, a tourist information centre and a supermarket.

Further Details:

Salmon fishing is available at the River Snisort, just over one mile away.

St. Columba's Isle on Skeabost River is just over a mile away. There you will find ancient ruins and graves, stretching back over many centuries.

Horse riding centre is approximately four miles away.

Booking Notes:
We are happy for our guests to arrive or depart on any day of the week, although you should note that in busy periods you may be charged for the entire week - ie the whole seven days, even if you are only staying for a few days.
A booking of £100 is required at the time of booking per week booked. Please pay remainder on arrival.
Check-in time is 4pm, check-out time is 10am.
Please note, we operate a No Smoking policy and a No Pets Policy for the maximum comfort of our future guests.

Changeover Day:
Please vacate the house by 10 am on the morning of departure.
