A very private 4 bedroom, Air-conditioned Family Villa with lovely mountain views in a rural location in the Spanish countryside. Finca Tranquila is the ideal place for a relaxing Family Holiday and is located in a very private area. A car is essential It is a 5-minutes drive (2Km) from the town of Coin along a winding concrete road with the last 200 metres as an unmade dirt track. The Living space in the Villa is 150 square metres (1,500 square feet approx.) and the majority of the land, which is behind the Villa consists of 9,000 square metres (over 2 acres) of mainly sloping Mountain terrain covered in Almond trees (full blossom Jan/Feb) All is fully fenced and totally private. Finca Tranquila is on two levels with two entrances both approached via the private drive. The property is fully furnished and has Air-conditioning, TV and Internet connection. It is totally self-contained and consisting of: 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, Large living and Dining area, separate Kitchen, 2 large terraces and private swimming pool with outside shower and large sunbathing areas. Coin Town has Supermarkets, Shops, Banks and also an Open-Air Market once a week.

we spend most of our holidays in spain and have made many friends and have fallen in love with the country.

Why Steve and Jane Haines chose Guadalhorce (Costa del Sol)

We chose Coin as it is a typical Spanish town and the local people are very friendly and is only 40 minutes from Malaga airport

Its location is ideal for the coast and also inland Ronda Granada the lakes and Cordoba.

The house is only a few minutes from the town but is in the countryside and is very peaceful it's the perfect place to chill which we need having our own business. There are no street lights so in the evening we love to relax looking at the stars from the terrace.

Nested away in the hills, this rental property has all you can ask for: beautiful surroundings, quiet spot, safe grounds, well looked after and thought through as though you were the owners of the property. Nothing is missing when you are looking for an item in the kitchen! We could relax in different sitting areas depending on the time of the day, sipping a G&T looking over the quiet hills or by the pool preparing the BBQ. Finished to a high level of construction standard you cannot fault the property. Although we like to change rental property from one trip to another so as to see other places, this is one place we will go back to especially.

SMOKING: Smoking is only permitted in the terrace or grounds Outside: Eat in or Al Fresco with countryside views in either of the two spacious terraces. The lower level area in the property is ideal for young children to play games and use some of the facilities that we provide e.g. Pool table, Child Swing, Child Slide, Sand area etc. Kidney shaped private swimming pool 8m x 4m (from 1.2 - 1.6 Depth), with roman steps at one end and metal ladder at the other end for safety plus 1 metre high fencing all around the paved pool area to make it safer for children. 6 sun loungers, 2 recliners, table and chairs for 8, large parasols, shaded pergola. PLEASE NOTE: Children should not be left unattended in the pool area at any time. The pool is maintained on a weekly basis to keep it in tip-top condition. Should you book two weeks, someone will clean the pool at the start of your second weeks holiday. TOP COVERED TERRACE: Table and chairs with seating for up to 8 persons and also a lovely area to relax on wicker sofas enjoying the view Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: We provide all linen and towels. **WE ALSO PROVIDE LARGE TOWELS FOR THE SWIMMING POOL** CLEANING: The property is cleaned for your arrival and after your departure.

An absolute gem of a place.

The villa is absolutely perfect for a quiet holiday. It's a hidden gem just off the beaten track, and is ideal if you want to feel secluded. It has everything anyone could want from a holiday, I'd highly recommend, and fully intend on staying here again.

Excellent location - perfect spot in the valley!

Finca Tranquila is one of the best villas we have stayed in over the past 20 years of travelling down to Spain. It is close to the town of Coin with its supermarkets and other facilities but far enough away in the near by hills to be a peaceful and relaxing retreat.

This was a return visit for us and we chose the Finca as a base from which to explore and on some days simply chill out. The Villa is clean, well equipped and comfortable, benefiting from a good sized pool which is completely secluded. During the day the villa is bathed in sun but you will also find plenty of shade if necessary.

The property is secure and well maintained. We found communications with the English owners owners their local English speaking team, who clean the pool and look after the property, excellent.

No hesitation in recommending Finca Tranquia which is exactly as described on the website and will not disappoint! We hope to visit again.

beautiful secluded location

The villa is in a beautiful secluded location. With lovely views and some real peace and quiet we were able to have an extremely relaxed holiday with some wonderful memories, the villa is well equipped and had everything we needed. The house and pool were clean and some of the basic supplies provided on arrival came in extremely useful. There are lovely places like Mijas nearby with great restaurants and scenery. Jose was very friendly and helpful in showing us the way to the villa. Altogether I would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

A new commercial centre, ‘La Trocha’ has been built on the outskirts of town. It is located on the road to Cartama and contains numerous department stores including Dunnes, various food outlets including Burger King and a multi-screen cinema with Films in English about once a week
