I live in Stoke on Trent Staffordshire with my wife, we have two grown up children & 6 six grandchildren, It has always been an ambition of ours to own a property abroad where we can chillax & have a second home for us & the family to enjoy holidays. We have friends in the St James complex & February this year 2014 spent a week with them & fell in love with Praia da Luz & St James complex Immediately' We looked at various other apartments in the Luz area but couldn,t find one that ticked every box until we looked at the one In St James. So May this year2014 we bought our long awaited holiday home & are looking forward to many enjoyable holiday here in Luz

We bought our apartment as it,s so well located, with 2 swimming pools & a children's playground on site. A few minutes walk takes you to the beautiful beach & promenade, with shops, bars & restaurants. It,s only 10 minute drive to the city of Lagos or use the local bus, Its easy to get to & from Faro airport just 50 mins down the motorway either by hire car, or shuttle bus. theres plenty of places to visit in the surrounding areas & lovely walks along the coastal paths its just got everything you,d need for a great holiday & of course there are plenty of golf courses just a short drive away.
What makes this Apartment unique
As well as being furnished to a very high standard the apartment has air conditioning & heating making it useable all year round. You can park just a few metres away from the door therefore making it very wheelchair friendly up a short ramp. or by lift. Other benefits include large open space lounge/dining room area with a large balcony with fantastic views of the Atlantic ocean A fully fitted kitchen which includes washing machine, hob ,grill/oven, dishwasher. There are 2 bedrooms one with en-suite both have fitted wardrobes, Bedroom 1 has a King size bed. Bedroom 2 has 2 singles, balconies in both bedrooms looking out to the Atlantic ocean

Fantastic apartment & location
Modern, clean, beautifully furnished apartment. Had a wonderful week at Christmas - sitting on the balcony in the sunshine overlooking the sea! The owner, Andy, was extremely helpful regarding our stay - even giving us tips on where to eat. Would certainly book this apartment again. Trina & David
Great family holiday
We had a great holiday in Luz with our 11 month old daughter. The apartment was excellent and had everything we needed for a family holiday including a cot and brand new high chair. The location was perfect as we were able to walk everywhere and everything was easily accessible. The swimming pool at the complex was a highlight - exactly what you need with kids as it offered two pools and plenty of shade. All in all, a relaxing holiday.
We know how important it is to folks to have a well earned rest , we try & please everybody, I would encourage you to read all the reviews for our apartment.
Lovely modern apartment
We stayed at the apartment for the first time in June 2015. It had been recommended to us from my parents. It is beautifully decorated throughout. It had all the amenities we required, and more! The pool is brilliant for adults and children. We loved every minute of our holiday here and will defiantly be returning soon :)
More than a holiday apartment!
So unlike most holiday apartments we have stayed in, we all felt it was somewhere we could actually live rather than holiday, so stylishly furnished and comprehensively equipped, very large and spacious, lovely views from balcony, pool for the children what more could you want, will definitely return.
A wonderful holiday at this really lovely appt , spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated with amazing seaviews from a very large lounge and both bedrooms which is a wonderful treat thankyou Andy and Chris xx
It was our first visit to the apartment and found it to be modern, well equipped and in a great location. On arrival we had a welcome pack which was just what we needed as we did arrive late. It had a great pool and children's pool which was kept very clean at all time. We enjoyed it so much I have just booked again for next year. Thank you Andy and Chris.
Special interest holidays: Ideal for keen surfers in surrounding areas Coast/Beach: The apartment is a few minutes walk to the beach where you will find various watersports available as well as safe bathing on this blue flag beach, take a stroll along the promenade stopping off at one of the many cafes or restaurants. There are plenty of coastal paths to explore for the energetic Travel: Luz is a 50 minute drive from Faro airport , you can hire a car or catch one of the shuttle buses , information on request. Hiring a car does give you the freedom to explore the surrounding areas visit Espiche, Burgau, Lagos, Vilamoura, Albafeura, visit the Zoo, Waterpark, etc plenty of information is available locally Distances: Lagos is a 10min. drive, Faro airport 50mins, nearest golf course is 5 mins. away by car, Espiche is only about 10 mins away. Further Details: There are shops, supermarkets like Spar, & Baptista selling all you need just a few minutes walk away. There are plenty of restaurants for you to try & various bars.
Booking Notes: A non refundable deposit of 20% is required to secure your booking. Balance to be paid 8 weeks before arrival.In addition £100 refundable deposit will be added to your final invoice to cover breakages, This will be refunded after the apartment has been inspected by our management team after your departure. Changeover Day: Access to the apartment is usually after 3 pm on day of arrival and vacation is by 10am . on day of departure However, we will always try and accommodate your needs as far as possible.
