Guestbook comments from the owner

Horabin Family, England

Just had a fabulous family holiday at Beach Art Villa! Light, spacious and tastefully decorated/furnished. Equipped with everything you may need. So much to do and see nearby and of course direct access to the beach! Now we are home I'm having trouble falling asleep without the sound of the soothing sea! Thank you Nicola & Martin :-)

Williams Family, Edinburgh

The three of us have had a lovely break at Beach Art Villa - lots of things to do in the area and we found it to be very family friendly. We will miss living by the sea-side! Thank you!

Wykes Family, Scotland

What a lovely week we've had at this beautiful Villa, thank you! Tea on the balcony watching the sunset and the sea - bliss! There is lots to do - we recommend The Deer Centre near Cupar and The Cocoa Tree Shop in Pittenween for coffee or lunch.

Nelson Family, West Linton

Thanks for a lovely stay. Beautiful views and a lovely home. We'll be back!

Beautiful house in an ideal location

  • 5 of 5

Just back from an amazing stay at the Beach Art villa. The house was immaculate and had everything that we needed for our stay. As we were there in November it was great having the log fire for cosy nights in. The sea view balcony was a great spot to sit and watch the world go by. The views were out of this world :)

We enjoyed the local pub 'The Railway', literally minutes from the house. Friendly locals and a nice selection of drinks and some light snacks during the day. A short drive and you are in Elie, Anstruther, St. Andrews etc. Lots more restaurants and places to eat if you wish to try somewhere else. There are a few takeaways that will deliver to the house. Handy if you can't be bothered cooking!

Don't think you can beat waking up to the sound of the waves. Being able to walk directly on to the beach was also really good. We had a few early morning walks when there was hardly another soul there.

Hope to be back and would highly recommend this house to anybody wanting to visit Lower Largo.

Idyllic spot to relax

  • 5 of 5

This is a lovely home in a beautiful location. As it faces south you can see both sunrises and sunsets. The beach is literally on the doorstep. We all loved the beach walks, especially the dog! We did some kite-flying, too. I could have happily sat by the window the whole time watching the sea. It is a clean, warm, welcoming, well equipped villa with a lot of character. The village is delightful and all around is dog friendly which we (and the dog) enjoyed. There was a great pub and small hotel for meals within a stone's throw. Would definitely recommend and hope to return.

Fantastic and highly recommended

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic week in the villa - and because it is on the North Bank it has a south facing aspect over the sea. The upper balcony was a great place to read a paper in the sun. The location couldn't be better. The sea comes right in and when the tide is out, the beach is great. The local amenities were good, everyone was friendly and we would recommend it to anyone who loves being by the sea.

Idyllic Family Holiday!

  • 5 of 5

My family came to stay whilst exploring St. Andrews and the local area. The house was wonderful, spotlessly clean and beautifully turned out. The views onto the beach were wonderful, and the house is much more spacious than the pictures depict I thought! There were lots of books and DVD's for the children to dip into if the weather was a bit off, and the gate directly leads to the beach where we found hermit crabs, shells galore and sea snails! A friendly village, fresh fish, and daily trips out and about made this one of the best family holidays we have had! We recommend the Scottish Deer Centre, fantastic!

Beach Art Villa

What a wonderful week we had at this beautiful villa which is wonderfully decorated throughout with the owner's own work . On arrival tho villa was immaculate and a lovely welcome pack awaited us . To make it perfect the weather was lovely and we spent mornings exploring the beach with our collie puppy followed by lovely fresh coffee on our own private balcony watching others on the beach ! Afternoons and evenings were spent exploring the local area including Crail , Anstruther and St Andrews , all a short journey away . We ate some gorgeous local food including lobster bought direct from the local fisherman for a very reasonable price . Blacketyside farm a short distance away also has lovely fresh local produce for both sit in and takeaway with a lovely picnic area .

Overall a lovely holiday in a beautiful part of the country . The beachfront location of the villa is just perfect and we've already recommended to our friends . Well certainly go back

Un petit coin de paradis!

  • 5 of 5
