A beautifully light and airy sea-view apartment. Recently built, finished to a very high standard, and impeccably furnished, this really is an exceptional place to stay. Exceptionally large open plan kitchen/dining/living area, with glazed doors opening out onto small balcony overlooking the bustling harbour. Views out down the channel to the sea. Sizeable master bedroom with fitted wardrobes and ensuite shower room. Second bedroom (twin beds) and separate bathroom with shower over bath. Well equipped modern kitchen. Designated parking space in enclosed courtyard, lift access to this first floor apartment makes it ideal for the less mobile also. Warm and comfortable all year round. A few minutes walk to shops, pubs and restaurants.

Apartment 1 overlooks the harbour. Apartment 10 is a comfortable two bedroomed apartment, quietly located just a minute's walk to bustling Staithe Street, the heart of the town. This recently built apartment has a sunny living area incorporating a well equipped modern kitchen as well as a dining area. There is a sizeable double bedroom whilst the second bedroom has two single beds. There is a large shower room incorporating a sizeable walk-in shower. Warm all the year round, perfectly located and equipped to enjoy a visit to this beautiful location on the coast.

A beautiful apartment with a stunning view!

This is a very comfortable and spacious apartment with the most stunning view. We enjoyed our stay enormously and will certainly return. The apartment worked perfectly for our daughter who is in a wheelchair and we really appreciated the delicious cake that was provided on our arrival. Many thanks.

Excellent apartment , spacious and clean with lovely views

Our second visit to this apartment. We had a wonderful week in this spacious, well equipped , clean apartment. The views are spectacular and we never tire of watching the change of the tides and the fishing boats leaving and returning with their catch. If we had one small complaint it would be that we would like a bigger TV and DVD player to complete a perfect holiday.

Lovely flat. Fantastic view of harbour.

Apart from not being able to contact the owner by phone and the very short time between paying the balance and our holiday start date (we have always had to pay balance 2-3 months before we go, this time 3 weeks!) we loved the flat. It was spacious, clean (apart from one or two small details), very well equipped, beds comfortable, but how I wish health and safety allow the windows to be opened wider. The best part is the position of the flat, coffee shop underneath (no noise as it closes at 4pm) pub about a minute's walk (again no noise but we stayed end sept so don't know what it would be like on a hot summer evening. Little independent shops to meet every need no more than 2-3 minutes walk And that view will keep us company in the coming winter. We loved watching the fishermen unload their catch, crabs, of course, lobster as well as fish of all kinds. Some of the fishermen will sell direct from the boat. How fresh is that?

What a gem

What a great place. We knew the area well so assumed the view was going to pretty good but nothing prepared us for the wonderful scenery as we walked into the living area. It really is special.

As the tides change throughout the day so do does the view beyond. It captures the essence of Wells, the hustle of a working fishing harbour, families crabbing, people eating fish and chips, dog walkers and day trippers, but first thing in the morning and at the end of the day, quiet descends, the marshes and the harbour are yours to enjoy.

You have the best of both worlds staying here, you can walk to the beach (20 minutes), great cafe at the end of your walk if you are in need of refreshments or you can catch the noddy train (5 minutes), all restaurants and eateries within a few minutes walk of the apartment and there really are some great places to choose from. So no need to use the car, but a great base to use if you want to go further afield. There is so much to do. (a week was not long enough for us)

The apartment is really nicely decorated, clean and very well equipped. Pretty faultless really.

Maybe I shouldn't have given such a rave review, as everyone will want to stay here now.... I might miss out on re-booking next year, but there again it would be a shame not to share this gem.

Less than 1 minute walk from the front door to the harbour front. 20 minutes walk (5 minutes drive) to miles of sand at the renowned Wells and Holkham beaches.


Nearest railway stations Sheringham (35 minutes drive) or Kings Lynn (45 minutes drive). 1 hour drive to Norwich.


Stiffkey, Morston, Blakeney and Cley are all worth visiting for the pubs or shops within 20 minutes drive along the coast road to the East, with Sheringham and Cromer further afield. Holt, with its fantastic shops, restaurants, and the Auden Theatre is just 20 minute drive inland. You can walk to Holkham Hall, and visit the hall, café, and grounds. Felbrigg Hall, Oxburgh Hall, Blickling Hall, and Houghton Hall are also comfortable driving distances.
