Comfort & Views
A very cosy house which is well equipped. Lovely views from the front windows & easy parking in the marina across the road. Very quiet at night & comfy beds. The two large lounge settees were perfect for two couples. A nice pub just up the road & regular ferries to Dartmouth. Regular buses too to Brixham with the bus stop a few yards away. All this plus a very nice, accommodating owner.
Better than expected.
Five star Property
Wow , what a property absolutely stunning inside, luxury at its best.As soon as you walk in , the place is immaculate, the decor and the furniture is true quality. The house is a master peace in taste and decor, the owner has not comprimized in any area. A brand new kitchen really tastefully done , in grey painted finish with white granite worktops , and all modern Neff appliances , if you are like me and you enjoy cooking this property gives you the opportunity to cook in and open plan kitchen and entertain. The kitchen we found out was from a company called Kaw interior design , definately be on our shopping list if we require a new kitchen.
Upstairs all i can say bring a alarm clock , because we all slept like a log , and all of us commented on how well we all slept.
Bathroom there is one on the first floor and a shower room on the ground , again done to a very high standard.
Location is lovely , outside a small walk and you can catch the Dartmouth steam train , and visit Greenway Agatha Christies holiday home , recommend get off at Churston if you dont like walking, but the train gives you a lovely coastal run upto Paignton.Within Kingswear there is a small family shop to get your essentials , and there are several resturants and pubs, i would recommend the Steam Packet for anyone who likes Gin and Pizza, sounds a funny combination, but the owner is really welcoming.
And two minute walk from the house is the Lower ferry so you can jump on the Ferry and go over to Dartmouth.
The house is stunning and the owner is really helpful and friendly , they could not do enough.
I cannot recommend this place enough, we will be back !
Stunning home, stunning views
This truly is a luxurious home which is tastefully furnished and decorated with high specification finishes throughout. Think Harper's Bazaar and Times Homes supplement .... this property is all that and perhaps more.
Set in a prime location, high overlooking Kingswear marina and its active steam train station, not to mention Dartmouth directly opposite and a fleet of moored boats - the views are to die for.
The feel of the home is comfort and oozes class. The front garden is in a country cottage style; there's a beautifully tiled hallway; the lounge is tastefully furnished with comfortable couches and even a widescreen TV supplemented with a DVD player.
Each bedroom is beautifully decorated and offers comfort. The bathrooms are spotlessly clean and modern.
This really is a must rent home - indeed, I don't think I've ever stayed in nicer accommodation in the UK.
